This month we host Bob Washam along with our own experts, Mark Perry and Bob Voisinet who will report on the current state of our river; where the water quality is now and what we can expect in the future.

Please join the Rivers Coalition and the River Kidz for a River Rally at the St. Lucie Locks & Dam on Thursday October, 25 at 6:30PM, Come out and show your support!

* The St. Lucie Lock & Dam are located at the end of Locks Rd, off of Kanner Highway; this is where the releases from Lake Okeechobee enter the St. Lucie River.

On Thursday, October 11th, Leon Abood addressed 40 members of the Sunrise Rotary Club at Monarch Country Club. The group is upset with the discharges from Lake Okeechobee. They are supportive of our push to move water south.

This month the River Kidz are working on their Harbor Bay Plaza RIVER KIDZ HELP THE RIVER ART SHOW!


The plaza in Sewall's Point is displaying the signs out doors for shoppers to view as the walk through the plaza. Starting soon, shoppers can vote on their favorite sign and a VIP party will be help weeks later that all members of the River Coalition will be invited to. Help the River Kidz spread "awareness" about the state of our rivers!
