Hi there everybody,

 

Andrew here again on behalf of the ever energetic and never stopping Laurey Masterton.  She is still on her trek across Spain.  She is in good spirits and trucking along. 

 

She says her Spanish is getting better and better and the people and hostels along the way are hospitable and nice.  So with one foot following the other she is eating up the road.  We here on this side of the pond in our little mountain town have her in our thoughts.

 

This is my buddy Dan.  He's a nurse and a Dad and an all around good guy.  We were neighbors for a time and he was the first person I had ever met to keep bees.  Sometimes his hives do great other times they sadly did not.  Every year he keeps doing his part to help these little guys pollinate which in turn helps all of us.

 

A few days ago I was talking to his wife and lamenting the fact that since I live in an apartment I can't do this kind of thing.  She very wisely said that I eat and shop locally and work for a company that supports this.  And that my boss has a book coming out to raise awareness about bees and all that they do...it has some great recipes too. 

 

It just reminds me that we all do our part and that trying in and of itself is making a difference.

 

Here are dinners to go for this week.  This, if you do not know, is a fabulous way to have dinner.  It's easy - just call us by noon and your dinner will be ready for you to pick up by 3 that very day. 

 

Call by noon and we'll have your dinner ready at 3. You can stop by to pick yours up until we close at 8. Add Salad (3.25) or bread (1.25) if you like.

Wow!  We did it.  This past week was crazy and busy and fun and we were all over spreading the love of food and celebration.  Did I mention crazy?
