Destination Accomplished
Masterton Makes Good on Promise to Walk for a Really, Really Long Time

She Made It!
Here she is.  What else can you say?  As though anyone ever doubted she would be standing in front of The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela when she started this trip.  Congratulations Laurey.  We are all extremely happy for you.

She sent me this little note when she got there-

All is very good.
My body is good.
My heart is full.
My feet are tired.

Way to go Boss.

Seriously, she made it.
No kidding... she did it.  She even got the documentation.  I know that it seems like overkill but when else do you get to celebrate stuff like this?

So if the journey is the destination then what do you get for walking back to where you started?

Well played LCM.

Summer Evenings...and cake
Well, look at that.  Our caterers with Leslie at the helm have pulled it off again. From bridal showers to evening weddings out in the mountains they always go above and beyond make moments to remember like this.  Thank you to our patrons for thinking of us and big, "Well done and big thanks!" to everyone who made it all possible.

Who's hungry?

Why I work here.
Aside from the fact that this is a great company with great products and services, it is a company that allows me to have a life.  I can afford to take time off thanks to working at a Living Wage certified business that actually gives me paid time off.

This is my brother.  Two guesses which one and it is not the guy in the middle.  We have not seen each other in over 7 years.  He lives in Singapore where he teaches at an international school with his wife and three kids. His oldest was born here in Asheville.  Sadly I have yet to meet the other two.

I am so thankful to be able to spend time with him and to have the support I get from the people who work beside me every day. So if you don't see me around the shop it is because I am spending time with one of my all time favorite people.

See you next week.

Andrew
