It's my belief that we need to be leveraging corporate, civic and non-profit partnerships and the Museum of Motherhood towards a legacy project that will serve as an archive for research and a center for development. An obvious next step is creating a showplace for events in New York City (or elsewhere) and an exhibition and education facility that will improve the lives of families everywhere.
Over the last decade the topic of motherhood has emerged as a vibrant social, political and cultural field of study. This is an exciting time for women, men and caregivers.
The Museum Of Motherhood (M.O.M.) is the first and only exhibition and education center dedicated to the exploration of family - past, present, and future.
We provide a robust anthropological, social, economic, political and historic exploration of the global family. Our unique intersection between the educational and popular sphere make us a dynamic leader within the community sector.
We are currently accepting high-level partnerships to develop next-stage expansion of this legacy project.
Our aim is high. We want nothing less than to develop an awe-inspiring physical location that will rival the most elaborate cultural institutions.
We are currently accepting:
New advisory board members & funding specialists
Corporate, civic, governmental and non-profit partners

We would especially like to thank New York GYMBOREE franchise owners Deb Whitefield and Barry Hanson for making our current location possible.
