Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Wednesday, January 29
The Creeks Division’s Storm Water Infiltration Projects at Stevens Park, the Westside Neighborhood Center, and Oak Park are now complete!

Please join Mayor Helene Schneider and the City Council for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the projects.

Wednesday, January 29, 11am
Oak Park Main Parking Lot
W. Junipero Street between W. Alamar Street and Calle Real

Approximately 100,000 square feet of asphalt has been removed and replaced with permeable pavers, designed to allow storm water (rain) and urban runoff to infiltrate into the ground.

This keeps pollutants like oil and auto fluids from leaking cars, metals, bacteria, and nutrients from flowing directly into storm drains, which flow into our creeks and oceans untreated.
