A Note from the artist
Thank you to everyone who attended "Thirteen". I had a very successful opening raising awareness for Girls on the Run of WNC selling 12 of the 13 original paintings in less than two hours. The event could not have gone smoother and I'd like to thank everyone from far and near for traveling to support me and my passion of art and women.

That being said, I have many exciting collaborations and projects on the horizon that cannot be revealed until later in 2014 In the meantime, I will be going back into my weed series with a variation of wild flowers. This series will be a subset of the other called, "Wild Things Abide", inspired from Red June, an indie bluegrass trio here in Asheville. I will be painting macro interpretations of everything from milkweed to wild raspberries.

You can keep up with my new paintings by liking Nancy Joyce Gallery on FaceBook as well as following me on Twitter or reading my blog. Thank you all for your loyal support and for your deep and sincere encouragement as I continue to forge ahead.
