Greetings, jazz fans! The Dmitri Matheny Group 2014 Tour is in full swing, including over 100 concerts, club appearances and workshops. This month: an extended tour of Michigan, with performances in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Traverse City and Kalamazoo, and master classes at colleges and high schools all across the state. Just ahead: summer shows in New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado and Canada, and fall CD Release Celebration events throughout the USA. Join us!

Jazz Improvisation Workshops As part of his 2014-15 touring season, Dmitri Matheny presents Melodic Mastery jazz improvisation workshops for aspiring musicians. Based on the teachings of his mentor, jazz legend Art Farmer (photo), Matheny advocates a lyrical, melodic approach to jazz.
