Childhood Cancer Action Days 2014
REGISTRATION OPEN!CHILDHOOD CANCER ACTION DAYWASHINGTON, D.C.
JUNE 23-24, 2014

The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO), a member of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer, is pleased to announce that registration for this year's Childhood Cancer Action Day in Washington, DC is now open.

Once again, organizational members of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer will host a two-day event that includes issues and advocacy training, and pre-arranged Capitol Hill visits with Congressional Representatives and their staff. The Alliance goal is to provide the childhood cancer community - parents, children, healthcare professionals and others with the opportunity to visit their Representatives on Capitol Hill and advocate for the important childhood cancer issues currently before Congress.
Registration is limited to 150 participants. Please register today.
On behalf of the American Childhood Cancer Organization and the Alliance for Childhood Cancer, we look forward to seeing you in Washington, DC in June.

Parker's Place for Bereaved Families

DATE: July 3rd - 6th 
LOCATION: Camp Lutherhaven Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
 
Discounted cost to qualifying families: $30 per person. Registration fees can be waived for new qualifying families if cost is a barrier to attending this healing camp.

Light the Way Dinner and Auction
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and attended our event on May 30, 2014. We raised nearly $82,000.00 that will go a long way to help fund our programs and services.

We extend our hand and support to all families who have heard the words, "your child has cancer."
 
 
Washington New Diagnosis/Members:
 
Emily is  7 years old and was diagnosed with ALL in January.

Three year old Elias was diagnosed with  Pre-B ALL in January

Gracie is 2 and was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma in January

Twelve-year-old  Konnor was diagnosed with ALL in April.

Kaiden is six and was diagnosed with Pre B Cell ALL in April
 
Audrey is four and was diagnosed with  Medulloblastoma last August

Seven-year-old Elouise was diagnosed with a Yolk Sac Germ Tumor in March

Jaxon, at under a year old was diagnosed with  Neuroblastoma in April

Patrick is 18 and was diagnosed with ALL in May

Six-year-old  Ethan was diagnosed with  Medulloblastoma in April

Ryan is 15 and AML relapsed with AML in May after an initial diagnosis in 2013.

Nine-year-old Michael was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor in 2011 and joined our group this past May.

Izabella, 8, was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Lymphoma in May.

Kadie is 4 and was diagnosed with ALL in May.

Fourteen-year-old Abigail was diagnosed with AT/RT brain tumor in May.
 
Idaho New Diagnosis/Members:
 
Sameul is 17 and was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma last July and joined our group this past December

 
Austin  is 19 and was diagnosed with  Hodgkins Lymphoma in late December.

Five year old  David was diagnosed with  AT/RT Brain Cancer  in December.

 
 
Montana New Diagnosis/Members:
 
Aedan is 5 and was diagnosed with ICH-Langerhons cell histiocytosis this past February and joined our group in May.

Three-year-old Lauren Dawn was diagnosed with a sarcoma in April.
 
To these children/young adults and their families along with those who chose not to be listed, know that you are not alone.
