Doña Ysabel Chinguel Machado and Doña Olinda Pintado Sidia are famous curanderas from the North Coast of Peru (Chiclayo), featured in Dr. Bonnie Glass-Coffin's acclaimed book, "The Gift of Life." They work with their mesa, herbs, and hands-on healing, to bring balance to your entire being..
Known as “The Twins”, they work in their community as respected healers. They use ancient traditional ways to treat people. The focus of their medicine is to put you at peace with the Spirits of the Universe. Ysabel, from Singo in the province of Huancabamba, and Olinda, from Huancabamba village are soul twins, also known as Yanatin-Masintin, a balanced complementary union of masculine and feminine energy.
For over 30 years, they have practiced Northern ancestral medicine in the city of Chiclayo. Their wonderful working relationship has allowed them to heal many kinds of illnesses- from depression to terminal illnesses. Traveling to Huancabamba with their clients, Ysabel and Olinda always make use of the sacred waters of the magical Huaringas lakes.
They are such great healers and have had such amazing results that Medical Doctors
in Peru are running clinical studies on their methods used to cure terminal illness.
ABOUT DOÑA YSABEL CHINGUEL MACHADO
Ysabel comes from las Huaringas and the sacred lakes nearby Piura, Peru. She is well known because of her “angel hands”. People from all over the world come and take baths at the lakes in Huaringas, where they are healed and blessed. When she was 30, she was elected by the divine San Pedro spirit to be a healer. Ever since this time, she works at Chiclayo, Peru, helping people with terminal and rare diseases, and other disorders.
ABOUT DOÑA OLINDA PINTADO SIDIA
Olinda comes from Huancabamba, a village near las Huaringas Piura, Peru. Since she was a little girl, she was interested in the mesadas (San Pedro ceremonies) and began to learn the ways of this medicine. When here cousin was very sick , Isabel was invited to do a mesada on her behalf. All were amazed by the results as a deep healing ensued. Olinda’s path was clear after this point; according to her tradition, she was elected by the Divine and the spirit of San Pedro to be a healer. She practices her medicine in Chiclayo, Peru, together with Ysabel.

In this rarely offered workshop, you will learn about sacred healing plants and herbs of Northern Peru. Learn combinations and ways to work with the plant kingdom to bring healing to common chronic and terminal disease states, thyroid, heart conditions, sousto (Soul Loss), cancer and more! Currently in Peru, the Twins have western doctors doing clinical studies on the progress of terminal cases, documenting how their healing occurs– trying to understand the strong connection the Twins have to the plant kingdom and their healing abilities to aid people on all levels the Spiritual, Emotional, Mental, Physical, Ancestral, and Karmic.
