November, the month of gratitude and reflection. Many people think about all the things they are grateful for during November and even profess it on their favorite social media sites. I like to take a moment each day to remind myself of the people and ways that my life is abundant, as well as let those I care about know how much they are appreciated. So as I think about what I am grateful for many things come to mind . First, my family for encouraging and supporting me in the journey that is Good Dog! Coaching & Pet Care. My lovely ladies of pet sitting as I refer to them, our pet sitters that work lovingly and tirelessly for our clients and their pets to ensure that the pets in our care are safe loved and have fun while their parents are away. Without these wonderful pet sitters, Good Dog! Coaching & Pet Care would not be where it is today. I am thankful for our clients who support us in a positive way as we have grown changed and improved all along the way. For their kind and thoughtful comments, testimonies and feedback about our company, our services and the pet sitters that care for their fur babies. A better life I could not have imagined, while crazy, hectic and going in a million directions at one time on a daily basis I would not change it for the world. It is a life of love, happiness, fun and four legged (two legged and sometimes no legged) creatures that make us laugh every day. It doesn't get any better than this!. And lastly but certainly not least I am thankful for our dog Cole for whom with it all started, through divine intervention a dog that needed a home became a business that supports many in many ways. Thank you all.

7 Tips for Keeping Your Pet's
Teeth Clean & Healthy
Owner of Strutt your Mutt Grooming
Dogs don’t get cavities the way humans do, but they do get plaque, tartar, and gingivitis — all of which can cause foul breath and tooth problems. Trips to the doggie dentist can end up being costly, and your dog will have to be put under anesthesia, because no dog ever “opens wide” for any dentist or vet.
Brushing your dog’s teeth is important, but how often you do it depends on your dog and your motivation factor. Poor doggie dental care, however, can lead to dental infections that can travel to your pooch’s heart, causing major problems and even death!
We can help bring peace to your home.
At Good Dog! Coaching , we teach you how to communicate to your dog the positive behaviors you want from him. Good Dog! Coaching is a proud member of APDT – Association of Professional Dog Trainers.

Do I Really Need Travel Insurance?
By Penny Dennard, CTA
Would you purchase a home and not carry homeowners insurance? Of course not. Then why would you purchase a vacation without insuring your investment? Many people feel that travel protection insurance
is a waste of money. Others have the attitude that nothing is going to happen to make them cancel their plans. The reality is that you never know when something will happen so you need to reduce your risk of losing your money that you have spent on your vacation. Travel protection insurance
not only covers cancellation of your trip, it also covers trip interruption. If you are on your vacation and something happens that would require you to return home suddenly, the insurance covers extra expenses that you will incur to change your arrangements and come home early. Read more here.

In the Fall of the year, as the weather begins to cool and the beautiful colors are bestowed upon us, please remember that ticks are still a concern for us, our pet
dogs and cats (our furry four-legged family members). Ticks are known to bite and transmit disease through early November (depending on our weather). Ticks come in different colors, and can be black, brown, or tan, and they have eight legs. Ticks are not insects. They are actually arachnids, and are related to spiders. Read more here.
