CloudPCR Net
I attended a presentation Monday in Mayville by representatives from CloudPCR.net, a new company that is developing electronic prehospital care report software. The meeting was hosted by the Chautauqua County EMS Council. A startup based in Pennsylvania, CloudPCR.net is looking to expand into New York State. They are not an approved electronic prehospital care report vendor by the Department of Health. However, I found their demonstration interesting and members of the audience, including myself, offered them some suggestions and advice on ways to refine their product. Electronic health records and data collection are integral tools to help us achieve the triple aim of better health, better care and lower costs.

STHCS Magazine
We are producing a full-color, 32-page publication to highlight STHCS' members, programs and accomplishments. We've held several meetings with representatives of Community Magazine Group and chose them, in part, due to their experience working with some of our partners in the region including Starflight and Mercy Flight. This is a branding and marketing tool. The magazine will not be dated so it can be used for the next several years to share our mission and success with the public and partner agencies. I’m very excited. We are about to send information about advertising to help defray the cost of the magazine. If you would like to advertise in the magazine, or are just curious about ad costs, please contact me at (716) 372-0614 or at dkahm@sthcs.org.
