Monday Immersion: Robert Moss

We are so thrilled to have Robert Moss joining us this year! Robert is the creator of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of modern dreamwork and shamanism. Born in Australia, he survived three near-death experiences in childhood. In one of these experiences, he was “away” for what seemed to be a whole lifetime among a tall and beautiful people unlike those he knew in the surface world. He came back feeling he was “neither fairy nor folk”. In midlife, on land to which he was called by a white oak and a red-tailed hawk, he received an invitation from an ancient woman of power of a Native American tradition. When he flew to her on the wings of a hawk, she helped him to re-quicken profound ancient practices of dreaming for soul healing and conscious travel between the worlds. Robert became a dream teacher, a path for which there was no career track in Western society.
This year he is offering the Monday immersion "FOLLOW YOUR OWN MERLIN: A Day of Adventures in Enchanted Realms"
With the right song on your lips and in your heart, powered by shamanic drumming, you’ll travel to a sacred grove where you will find your own Tree between the Worlds. You’ll learn to travel with the senses of your animal guardians, and to fly on the wings and see with the keen vision of your bird friends.
You’ll negotiate with the Gatekeeper for admission to the Fairy Market where you will roam in a realm of wonder until you find the place where a special gift is waiting for you. It may be the key to one of the Lands of Lost Boy and Lost Girls where a bright part of your own soul has been kept safe, waiting for you to reclaim it, ever since it flew away because your world seemed too cold and cruel, or simply too dull. Or you may find yourself traveling to the place of encounter with that Fairy Godmother who has other names, and can show herself in many forms.
If you are ready, you may be able to find and follow your own Merlin. Merlin has a thousand faces. He is magician, enchanter, poet, trickster, prophet, wise or scheming adviser to kings, the hero or anti-hero of countless dramas. He is “neither fairy nor folk”. Merlin is a shaman, perhaps the very model of a shaman of the West. I know he is a dreamer. I followed my own dreams to Hart Fell, the mountain on the Western Borders where a Scottish Merlin lived wild with the deer.
We dream of Merlin, and it may be he brings dreams to us. My Merlin, lover of woods and deer and poetic speech, is not confined to the  ”glass house” where a lovely female apprentice is said to have confined him after she tricked him out of his master spells. The Merlin I love travels with a magic orchard that goes with him everywhere. If you are very lucky, he may offer you an apple, either silver or gold. When you bite down, you’ll taste not only the sweet juice of the apple, but the heady power of a story – a story that will inspire you and give juice to your life – slipping into you. The dream shaman who gives us the right stories is a Merlin worth following.

Thursday Immersion: Mare Cromwell

Referred to as “The Voice of Earth Mother” by a gifted Shoshone elder, Mare Cromwell is a multi-award-winning author, nature mystic, empathic intuitive healer and international speaker. Her books include: The Great Mother Bible, Messages from Mother….Earth Mother and If I gave you God’s phone number…. Searching for Spirituality in America. Mare has studied with Native elders for nineteen years and sits on the World Council for Wisdom Gatherings.
Mare is offering the Thursday Immersion this year: "Messages From the Sasquatch"
The Sasquatch came to visit Mare in Maryland while she was writing her third book The Great Mother Bible during the winter of 2014. They announced themselves via the very strong skunk-like aroma they have. At the time, Mare did not realize who or what the source of the smell was and asked them to leave.  A very gifted Shoshone teacher told her the next day that it was Sasquatch who came to see her, to be guardians of her with her work with Earth Mother. They are considered the Keepers of Earth Mother.
Mare spiritually reconnected with the Sasquatch again in November of 2015 and they have asked her to bring their messages out into the world, as Mother has asked Mare to bring her messages out. They wish the world to know who they are, how intelligent, spiritually evolved and telepathic they are, and their desire to work with the human community again in a way that serves the highest good for all of us (including All Our Relations). They seek to be active co-creators with us in birthing this New World of joy, compassion, healing and balanced harmonious living that is coming in now.
This workshop will be part ceremony and part discussion. The Sasquatch will be invited in spiritually to communicate with Mare and others in the room who can hear them telepathically.  The Sasquatch are overjoyed to have this opportunity to share more and work with the beautiful people of the Fairy Congress who are already open to them and feel love for them. Their hope is that the Fairy Congress will be a great planting of beautiful seeds so that more humans will wake up and honor them, along with all the beautiful beings in the Nature Spirit kingdoms.  Their biggest hope is that we will co-create the New World coming in, in as graceful a way as possible during these interesting times.
Port Townsend Fairy Group
Michael Pilarski, founder of the Fairy Congress, has recently moved to Port Townsend and is starting a monthly Fairy Study Group.  The first meeting is today, February 11th (sorry for the late notice!), from 6:30 to 8:30pm at a private residence in the neighborhood of Sheridan and Hastings.  This will be a once-a-month, evening gathering of people interested in the fairy realms, devas and nature intelligences.  We can share our favorite books and talk about our own experiences. Between us we can all gain a deeper understanding.  Contact Michael at if you are interested in attending.

This month we celebrate Marygold McNutt, Queen of the Fairy Kitchen!!  Marygold is one of a handful of people who have been to ALL of the Congresses.  She first came as a presenter and a participant, but then offered to step in and help with the kitchen when she saw the need.  Her skills in organizing and managing the kitchen have grown tremendously over the years, we are excited to see what comes forth this year!!
Thanks from the Fairy Congress Council!
Thanks to Everyone who helps make the Fairy Congress such a magical and world-changing event!  The Fairies and Devas love us and appreciate all who make the effort to make the world a better place.
