Most of our teachers are taking a break for the summer, but if you see a class that you want and have two or more friends to join you, then give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate you. Our regular schedule starts in the fall.
|We have Moda Grunge in every color of the rainbow. Choose yards off the bolt for $11.00 each, or select from a variety of individual fat-quarters or fat-quarter bundles.|
A good quilter is never without a great pair of scissors that are used ONLY for cutting fabric. Dull scissors will make you give up on sewing very quickly. To keep them sharp, you must hide them. I keep mine in with the house cleaning supplies. My husband will never find them there!
Monday - Friday

We are busy at the quilt store. This is the time of the year that we start receiving lots of new fabric. Also, we have made a few changes at the shop, sort of a mini-facelift. We have new displays inside and a fresh coat of paint on the outside rafters.
The Gallery has officially reopened. You can visit it anytime during our regular store hours, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm and on Saturday, 9am - 4pm. One-of-a-kind quilts are adorning the walls and we have an eclectic mix of handmade fiber artworks including wall hangings and three-dimensional pictures, jackets and purses, jewelry, scarves, stationary cards, kitchen and home decor accents, sewing room novelties and more. |
We are very fortunate to have several extremely talented artists who have chosen to display their works. Almost everyone who comes into the shop wants to take a peek inside the Gallery. We love all the excitement that it's creating among customers and staff. All items in the gallery are available for purchase and they make great, unique gifts.
We will be posting photos of some of the artworks on display on the "Gallery" page of our website. Artist submission inquiries are being accepted year-round. Please call or email us to make an appointment with Cynthia to review your potential works.
Note: Our row was designed with "scrappy" log cabin blocks on each end, so we recommend that you cut the longest rectangles first. If you have questions, call us!
Our shop is still awaiting a quilt submission for the 2016 Row by Row Experience. If you are putting the finishing touches on your quilt, you still have a chance to win. It could happen any day so don't wait too long.
You have until Sept. 6th to pick up a free row pattern. Afterwards, we go into a "hibernation period" during which no patterns or kits can be distributed. Our Row by Row Kit is available for $12.00 and our FabricPlate™ is $5.00.
We are taking pre-orders for items to be shipped after November 1st, when the hibernation period ends.
Our FabricPlate™ "It's Sew Sedona" can be purchased and mailed now, either online, by phone or in the store. Also, if you send us a good quality photo of your completed project (using our shop row or license plate), we will post it to our shop's album on the Arizona Row by Row Facebook page.
|"Make Me Beautiful" Quilt Raffle|
Look what just came back from the quilters! It's the first raffle quilt created from blocks that were submitted for the "Make Me Beautiful" contest. Ann Magetteri did her magic in arranging and sewing the quilts together. Barbara Stack did the quilting and Maggie Castillo-Cockrum is currently putting the finishing touches on the binding. The colors and creativity in this quilt are simply amazing.
We received over 100 blocks during the contest. So many that a second quilt is also being made. This first one is large enough for a queen size bed. We anticipate the second one to be a bit smaller. Thank you so much to everyone who created and submitted a block (or more).
Raffle tickets will go on sale September 1st. Cost will be $1.00 per ticket, or 6 tickets for $5.00. All proceeds from contest will go to our local women's shelter, the Verde Valley Sanctuary.
Shop now and save on all of our Christmas fabric. We have a full line-up of colors and prints to choose from. There are cute and cozy flannels as well as traditional, whimsical, bold and vibrant cotton prints, panels and coordinating fabrics. Or, select from our holiday precut fabrics and kits.
You can take advantage of the sale whether you come into the store, order by phone or shop on our website. If you shop online, be sure to use Coupon Code: Christmas2016 during your shopping cart check-out.
|New Fabrics Arriving Daily|
It's that time of the year when we have new fabrics arriving daily. And were not just talking about a few! The UPS and FedEx drivers pull up like clockwork and we love to see them. Here are some of the lines that came in last week. We don't have them all up on our website yet, but we will be adding several. Please come by to see them.
