This woman and her son followed Target around a store, passed Target several times clearly displaying her phone and then at the check out, she passed to the front of the registers and stood at another checkout counter behind target, while facing target's back while Target was checking out. This kind of obvious display is clearly stalking harassment. She did this while in the presence of a child who accompanied her and appeared not to understand why she was acting in this manner. He followed her with a basket of groceries to the front of the store while she was talking loudly and making a spectacle of herself. She had to tell him to go back and get in line behind target because what was happening was not the usual sequence of events for checking out one's groceries. Crimes of stalking involve children.
The way this woman turned her head once she passed Target showed an interest in the Target. This is not someone minding their own business and simply shopping. Her focus is clearly on the Target.
There were also two men who went from isle to isle where Target was shopping and they hovered around at the checkout. This happens at the post office, at restaurants, on the street, anywhere Target goes.
The one other time Target went out this week was also marked with a person who got directly behind Target in line at the convenience store. In a normal situation, this might happen from time to time, but in organized stalking, this happens 99.9% of the time.
This one bears a resemblance to a person who appeared in front of Target several weeks ago while shopping. They have the same beard. It looks like they could be brothers or cousins.

Yahoo (YHOO, Tech30) confirmed on Thursday data “associated with at least 500 million user accounts” have been stolen in what may be one of the largest cybersecurity breaches ever.
The company said it believes a “state-sponsored actor” was behind the data breach, meaning an individual acting on behalf of a government. The breach is said to have occurred in late 2014.
“The account information may have included names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, hashed passwords (the vast majority with bcrypt) and, in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers,” Yahoo said in a statement.

Bioelectrical Mechanisms for Programming Growth and Form: Taming Physiological Networks for Soft Body Robotics
The design challenge for soft body robotics is the creation of modular, complex, self-repairing, functional constructs. This long-range vision requires moving beyond the synthetic biology of soups of individual cells to the production of multicellular organs of any desired morphology. To achieve predictive control of bioengineered growth and form, we must learn from developing embryos and regenerative model species to understand and exploit the principles that guide large-scale pattern formation and enable self-repair and dynamic reconfiguration of living tissues. Endogenous bioelectrical signaling among cells in vivo is a powerful communication and control system that orchestrates individual cell behavior toward organism-wide anatomical states. All cells, not just excitable nerve and muscle, use voltage gradients to regulate growth and differentiation and to coordinate the activity that drives the formation of entire organs or appendages. Here, we identify exciting opportunities for soft body robotics to exploit the recent developments in this fascinating new field. Work in tractable model systems such as the frog showed that information stored in real-time bioelectrical networks can be manipulated to reprogram cells at the level of organ specification. Remarkably, specific modulation of physiological state can override genetic information and stably alter body pattern or prevent cancerous disorganization. The integration of bioelectric circuits with the metabolic and transcriptional modules used in synthetic biology is also now feasible. We present a toolkit of genetically encoded components that facilitates the inclusion of bioelectrical controls in bioengineering applications for programming the self-assembly of complex structures. Bioelectric manipulation of morphogenetic modules existing within multicellular systems helps avoid the cost of micromanaging the construction of biobots of arbitrary configuration. However, interesting challenges arise because of as-yet poorly understood spontaneous self-organization and emergent order in physiological networks. Together with new optogenetic technology for reading and writing bioelectric information into living constructs, bioelectricity offers the opportunity to guide the self-assembly of computational tissues, with far-reaching applications in soft body robotics, as well as regenerative medicine, cancer biology, cybernetics, and synthetic biology.

Bioelectronic Medicines: Controlling The Nerves Could Treat Chronic Diseases

Scientists introduce new bioelectronics technique that could control human nerve cells to treat chronic diseases.
Scientists from Galvani Bioelectronics are working to develop electrical implants that stimulate the nervous system and other parts of the body to treat diseases, and plans to have treatments ready by 2023.
The bioelectronics company is a joint venture between GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Alphabet's Verily, formerly Google Life Sciences.
"Many of the processes of the human body are controlled by electrical signals firing between the nervous system and the body's organs, which may become distorted in many chronic diseases," Slaoui said in a report by Fierce Biotech.
"Bioelectronic medicine's vision is to employ the latest advances in biology and technology to interpret this electrical conversation and to correct the irregular patterns found in disease states, using miniaturized devices attached to individual nerves. If successful, this approach offers the potential for a new therapeutic modality alongside traditional medicines and vaccines."
How it works
The research teams conducted experiments on animals where tiny silicone cuffs containing electrodes were attached around a nerve. A power supply was used to control the nerve's messages, BBC.com reports.
For instance, researchers suggested that the technique could help treat type-2 diabetes by blocking neural signals in the nerve of diabetic rats that increase type-2 diabetes. Through this process, the body's sensitivity to insulin is restored.
Kris Famm, GSK vice president for bioelectronics, told BBC that the approach was only "scratching the surface" when it came to determining which nerve signals affect the body. While the approach works theoretically, more studies would be needed before putting the technology into practical use.
Big Pharma shifting from deadly chemical drugs to bioelectric implants
Not content simply drugging its millions of victims with mind-altering chemical and biological inputs, the pharmaceutical industry is now developing ways to literally transform the human brain into a drug industry-controlled, biometric computer that will basically turn human beings into nothing more than mind-controlled robots.
The Financial Times reports that GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the drug behemoth recently forced to fork over the largest ever amount in fines for its massive criminal conduct (http://www.naturalnews.com), is leading the way in unveiling what the industry is now calling "bioelectronics." The premise holds that certain diseases can be treated by injecting electronic devices within the body for the purpose of artificially controlling neuronal synapses and other activity.
"Moving beyond conventional drugs that interact biochemically with the body, [Big Pharma] will have built a big 'bioelectronics' business that treats disease through electrical signaling in the brain and elsewhere," writes Clive Cookson for FT.com about the concept, which is expected to eventually replace many common drugs.
"Neurological problems, from stroke and epilepsy to depression, will be treated through electronic implants into the brain rather than pills or injections. Even diabetes and obesity will be attacked in ways that seem like science fiction today, by sending electrical signals to malfunctioning cells."
Rather than help the body naturally heal itself through proper nutrition, cleansing, and lifestyle, bioelectronics basically bypasses the body's own immune and healing systems, and replaces them with remote-controlled computer chips that can be programmed and monitored by outside forces. It is the embodiment of the "bionic man" or "cyborg" concept, where human beings are taken over by computers and mind-controlled.
Drug companies admit in plain sight their plans for mass mind control
Presented alongside glowing results from a few recent clinical trials showing how the technology can be used to potentially help tetraplegics and other seriously injured or paralyzed patients regain function, bioelectronics has the very real potential to be used for much more sinister purposes like controlling thought patterns -- yes, researchers are already saying it can be used to treat "depression" -- as well as individual eating habits and preferences.
Though the idea is still potentially years or even decades away from actually being commercialized, the stage is being set for its eventual widespread use. Experimental treatments, such as the battery-powered electrodes that were implanted into Edi Guyton's brain tissue to cure her depression (http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/14/health/battery-powered-brain/index.html), are already being actualized in the name of modern medicine.

GSK Plans Bioelectronic Implant Human Trials By 2017
British pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is planning initial human trials for bioelectronic implants next year to advance a nascent field of research it helped pioneer, with hopes of making it a viable business alongside its struggling traditional drug offerings.
GSK researchers have been looking into bioelectronics (also known as electroceuticals) since 2011. In 2013, the company funded an initial group of 40 scientists under a dedicated bioelectronics R&D program, and announced a $1M Innovation Prize for anyone who could create miniaturized, fully implantable devices that can read, write, and block the body’s electrical signals to treat disease. GSK has also put up the $50-million Action Potential Venture Capital fund to support more than 50 labs and startups that research and develop bioelectronic devices.
While GSK is the only big pharmaceutical company working on bioelectronics, the company hopes that these will eventually become a profitable new class of medicines apart from its traditional drugs, many of which are facing increased competition from generic manufacturers as patent protection expires.
The company currently is testing early prototypes of pill-sized bioelectronic implants in rats, but is already planning to initiate human trials for three major chronic diseases next year using third-party devices, reports Bloomberg. The company is said to preparing its own implant for market launch sometime in 2019.
Early this year, GSK announced a partnership with Belgian startup Nuviant Medical to research bioelectronic medicine. There was also a reported deal in the works with Qualcomm to develop new medical technology, which could involve bioelectronics.
Per Bloomberg, GSK researchers working at an R&D center north of London are developing implants the size of a grain of rice that attaches to nerve bundles in the peripheral nervous system.
“You piggyback on the circuits that are there,” said Kris Famm, who leads the bioelectronics R&D unit, according to the news outlet. “These cables go to and from all our organs. They’re there to control our physiology.”
The implant blocks or alters the impulses that pass through individual nerve fibers to control symptoms of disease, such as asthma or even cancer. Famm told Bloomberg that, theoretically, different implants could be "repurposed for many different diseases with only slight tweaks to their firing patterns."
Famm and other researchers know it won't be easy, though. Electrical pulses’ precise wavelength and frequency matter immensely, and they may need to be tweaked moment by moment to achieve the desired effect in the target organ. Incorrect controls could also lead to adverse effects, although researchers claim the implants pose less risk compared to drugs' systemic effects.
According to the report, additional challenges facing bioelectronics researchers include: the need for small power sources that can last decades; computers within the implants capable of reading and analyzing biological signals and adjusting output; and materials that won’t degrade over time or harm fragile nerves.

Light-driven bioelectronic implants without batteries
Implantable bioelectronic devices wirelessly powered by different stimuli provide electrical impulses to precisely modulate the body's neural circuits – although wireless powering and remote manipulation still remain a major challenge for the practical use of these devices, which include retinal and cochlear implants; deep brain stimulators for epilepsy and Parkinson's disease; pacemakers; and brain-machine interfaces.
Researchers in China are proposing a light-driven powering device using near infrared rays (nIR). Flashing light impulses, which are absorbed by the device, induce temperature fluctuation, thus generating voltage/current pulses which can be used for charging a battery or biological stimulations.
"Compared to the wireless power transport by electromagnetic coupling, near-infrared light with a wavelength of 760-1500 nm – known for its heating and medical physical therapy effects – provides an alternative wireless power that can penetrate into human tissue up to a depth of 4-10 cm," Prof. Hongzhong Liu and Dr. Weitao Jiang, from the State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, explain to Nanowerk.
The team reported their findings in the October 29, 2015 online edition of Advanced Functional Materials ("Flexible battery-less bioelectronic implants: wireless powering and manipulation by near infrared light").
Inspired by the photothermal effect of nIR in biomedical applications, Liu's team fabricated a remotely/wirelessly controlled battery-less implantable device driven by nIR.
"Our flexible and compact device can generate electrical pulses with controllable amplitude and width when remotely irradiated by nIR," notes Liu. "Not only can it supply power to implantable bioelectronics, but it also provides adjustable electrical pulses for nerve stimulation."
"In nerve stimulation, it is important to modulate the impulses that flow through the stimulated nerves," he elaborates. "The stimulus waveforms –i.e., amplitude; pulse width; monophasic versus biphasic; and the delay between the two phases of the biphasic pulse – provide the greatest excitability differences for different nerve fibers."
This wireless powering system combines PVDF – a specialty polymer in the fluoropolymer family – as active pyroelectric material with graphene as the electrode material.
To demonstrate the practical use of their device, the researchers implanted their power generation device as a stimulator for real-time functional electrical stimulation of a sciatic nerve of a frog and a rat heart, by a remote control by nIR irradiation.
Apart from pacemakers and nerve stimulation, direct electrical activation has been widely used to recover the function of neurons. Going forward, the team will explore their device's application in the area of neural recovery by remote control in vitro and integrate some functional devices, i.e., compact camera, and stimuli tips, on the developed internal stimuli systems.

Oil Company Takes Dozers on 20-Mile Detour to ‘Deliberately Destroy’ Ancient Native American Sites

Following Saturday’s brutal attack on peaceful protesters by private security mercenaries and vicious guard dogs acting on behalf of Dakota Access Pipeline interests, it has been revealed the company responsible for construction deliberately targeted documented sacred and culturally significant areas for demolition — and crews likely chose the holiday weekend in order to avoid a court injunction.
On Sunday, the Army Corps of Engineers backed a motion for a temporary restraining order halting further construction. A federal judge ordered an emergency hearing, which will take place later today.
Standing Rock Sioux and protesters from at least 100 Native American nations and their supporters discovered Energy Transfer Partners construction crews had decimated sacred burial sites and historic and culturally significant landmarks early Saturday morning — less than 24 hours after the tribe had filed court documents concerning sacred sites. The tribe’s historians had not been permitted onto the private property until recently to assess whether the area held cultural or other significance.
When demonstrators attempted to peacefully block crews from further destruction, security guards, or rather, mercenaries pepper-sprayed, tear-gassed, and indiscriminately sicced attack dogs on the crowd. Six people were bitten, including a pregnant woman and a young child, who reportedly had to be hospitalized.
Witnesses also described cell service suddenly cut immediately before dogs attacked demonstrators — and while police were not on scene, at least one helicopter circling the overhead was believed to be law enforcement.
“On Saturday, Dakota Access Pipeline and Energy Transfer Partners brazenly used bulldozers to destroy our burial sites, prayer sites and culturally significant artifacts,” Tribal Chairman David Archambault II stated, as quoted by the tribe in a post to Facebook. “They did this on a holiday weekend, one day after we filed court papers identifying these sacred sites. The desecration of these ancient places has already caused the Standing Rock Sioux irreparable harm. We’re asking the court to halt this path of destruction.”
Worse, according to Archambault, pipeline construction crews returned to the same area on Sunday — after the outrageous attack — to continue annihilating the sacred area.
DAPL is Just the Beginning — Federal Bill Seeks Largest Native American Land Grab in 100 Years

Three years ago, Utah Congressmen Rob Bishop and Jason Chaffetz came up with a proposal called the Utah Public Lands Initiative. This proposal would turn more than a quarter of the Ute Tribe’s land into oil and drilling zones. Now, after pining away for three years, the initiative has transformed into HR5780 and will be pushed through the US House of Representatives in just a few weeks.
This government grab of Native American land is the first of its kind in over 100 years.
According to the authors of the Utah Public Lands Initiative, it is to build consensus among stakeholders in eastern Utah to designate lands for conservation and development.
The Public Lands Initiative is a locally-driven effort to bring resolution to some of the most challenging land disputes in the state of Utah. The initiative is rooted in the belief that conservation and economic development can coexist and make Utah a better place to live, work, and visit.
While Congressman Bishop’s proposal may sound fair on the surface, he is one of Congress’ top cheerleaders for oil and gas development and a dogged critic of environmentalists.
“There is some land that needs to be preserved and there’s nothing wrong with that,” Bishop said in an interview recently. “There’s also land that needs to be developed, and there’s no reason why the two can’t coexist.”
Given the recent destruction of sacred Native land at Standing Rock during the construction of the DAPL, the Ute tribe tends not to agree with the congressman and is already planning to fight it. They’ve since formed a committee to discuss how.
“The actions of Bishop and Chaffetz would seek to divest the Ute Indian Tribe of their ancestral homelands,” the committee wrote in an op-ed for the Salt Lake Tribune. The committee said that this proposal runs the risk of returning to “failed policies of tribal land dispossession that have had a devastating and lasting impact upon tribal nations for the past century.”
According to the tribe’s website, this bill would directly impact 100,000 acres of Ute reservation lands, home to more than half of the tribe’s population. This land has been inhabited by natives for more than 11,000 years as the rock paintings and petroglyphs show.
“This modern day Indian land grab cannot be allowed to stand,” the committee said. “Bishop and Chaffetz’s actions also defy common sense. The bill involves seven counties in eastern Utah. Our 4.5 million-acre reservation overlaps these counties and makes up 26 percent of the total land area covered by the bill. Representing more than a quarter of these eastern Utah lands, the tribe should have been a major participant in the development of any bill to address problems in federal land management. We were not.”
In the bill’s FAQ section, the authors claim the PLI Act benefits Native Americans by creating “a landscape-level National Conservation Area known as the Bears Ears NCA that encompasses areas of cultural significance, such as Cedar Mesa, Bears Ears Buttes, and Beef Basin. Native Americans would represent 50% of the Bears Ears Management Commission which is charged with developing a land management plan for the Bears Ears NCA.”
However, the Ute tribe is not buying it, noting how they’ve been kept out of the loop the entire time.
The area in question is also well-known for its rich mining deposits including uranium and potash with deposits of tar sands present as well. For years, oil and gas companies have been eyeballing the region for drilling. And, now, thanks to the power of corporatism, they will be able to act.
It is important to note that voluntary innovation and exchange of goods and services and legal land acquisition are not the problems in this scenario. The problem here is that oil and gas companies are able to use the power of the government to grant themselves special privileges and land rights not afforded to others. Some of these special privileges include acquiescing large swaths of land through federal land grabs like this one to provide a low cost alternative to actually paying willing customers to use their land.
|Milk Thistle: Help For Your Liver|
Milk thistle, or Silybum marianum, is native to southern Europe and southern Russia, and contains a complex of therapeutic compounds known collectively as silymarin. It is sometimes called St. Mary’s Thistle. Milk thistle has been employed as a medicine for at least 2,000 years, primarily for ailments of the liver.
Silymarin in milk thistle has been shown to inhibit damage from toxic substances including alcohol, drugs and other chemicals. Silymarin stabilizes cell membranes in the liver, thus minimizing or inhibiting cell damage due to insult from harmful agents. Silymarin neutralizes harmful substances called free radicals which can damage cells. Specifically, silymarin protects oxidative damage to the lipid membrane which surrounds liver cells.
Look for standardized extracts of milk thistle containing between 100 -200—mg silymarin (calculated as silibinin) per capsule/tablet. I want to first express appreciation to those who came to this past Sunday's targeted individual meeting. There were two new unfortunate victims and some regulars, all totaling six of us. The new people told their stories as we all learned of more harrowing incredulous stories that these technologies are perpetrating. I kept on taking deep breaths as I hung on to my seat. John Lennon says, "you're just a human, a victim of the insane". This profound wisdom, I often repeat to myself to remember that we're not the "crazy" ones!
