Welcome and warm blessings for 2017

Here is my amazing group of shamanic seekers from a across the USA on the sacred Lake Mojanda up high in the Andes of Ecuador, on the 2nd annual Shamanic Healing expedition. We truly had a magical time to start the new year as we met and worked with eight powerful medicine people in the Andes and in the rainforest/Amazon.
We participated in Condor medicine teachings, experienced traditional La Limpia ceremonies, Guinea Pig healing, sound healing deep in a mountain caves and powerful plant medicine ceremonies. We hiked to sacred waterfalls and lakes, Sun Temple and visited the old city of Quito, the markets of the animals, shaman's and Artisan's Otavalo Markets, and visited a special indigenous school, a new model of education.
New Year is the time to go deeper, reflect, plan the upcoming year and renew your commitment to your personal and your community growth.

Soul Mending: How to Heal Spiritual Traumas with Soul Retrieval

 Traditional shamans view “soul loss”—the wounding of a person’s spirit as a result of trauma, often at an early age—as a leading cause of physical, emotional and psychological dysfunctions. The often-unconscious impulse to numb one’s feelings in order to carry on is the psyche’s survival strategy, but it takes its toll. The shamanic approach to healing this condition is to journey into the inner spirit world, retrieve the lost part of the soul, and reintegrate it into the psyche to return to wholeness. In this class, we’ll learn shamanic techniques for traveling to the spirit world; diagnosing soul-loss symptoms; developing the ability to “see” the source of our own and others’ traumas; and performing soul retrieval.
