We Have A Winner!
Actually the above headline is a bit wrong.  Our drawing for the Nighthawk tickets donated by Sunrise Guitars was actually two tickets apiece for TWO lucky members. Read on below for the scoop
on who got lucky this time.
One of the goals the Ozark Blues Society Board is to partner in our community with various businesses and venues that will help us enhance the value of being a member of Ozark Blues Society.  Want to be included next time we have a special drawing or add a new benefit?  All it takes is a $15 basic membership. Sign up HERE and begin your own path to lucky!

And don't forget we are less than a month away from the the Eureka Springs Blues Weekend benefiting Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge!
As always you can drop me a note and let me know what you want to see in this Newsletter. So, hit me up!

The Nighthawks
Born in early-1970s Washington DC where blues, soul, country, folk and rock filtered through the hearts of musicians in every neighborhood, The Nighthawks churn out a blues-and-rock infused style that honors the city’s dynamic influences and sets the stage for the rise of modern

blues acts such as George Thorogood, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Eureka Springs
Blues Weekend
The annual Eureka Springs Blues Weekend will be June 15 – 18, 2017, and is a fundraiser for the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, along with several other area charities.

You have to open your mind. I like the ability to express myself in a deep way. It's the closest music to our humanity - it's like a folk music that rises up out of a culture.
