Sentara BelleHarbour Expansion
Area officials broke ground recently on the future site of Sentara BelleHarbour's newest medical operations.  The expansion will include a second medical building which will be 85,000 SF of outpatient surgery suites, patient care offices and overnight observation beds.  The campus will also gain a helipad for pickups by Nightingale and other air ambulances.  Sentara intends for BelleHarbour to be a medical "destination" type of campus to serve Harbour View and surrounding areas.  
TowneBank HQ Expansion
TowneBank, headquartered in Suffolk, intends to expand their 22-acre Corporate Campus in Harbour View.  The expansion will entail the construction of a new, 44,201 square-foot multi-use administrative building.  The Harbour View campus employs nearly 400 people and houses all the bank’s corporate executive offices, operational support activities, including technology, loan and deposit services, electronic delivery, compliance, human resources and marketing.  Construction is expected to be complete in 2018.

Annaliza's Tasty Philippine Cuisine
Suffolk’s newest restaurant has opened at 812 W. Constance Road, across from Suffolk West Shopping Center.  Annaliza’s Tasty Philippine Cuisine is now open and serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The menu features popular Filipino fare such as lumpia, pancit, fried rice, chicken adobo, beef caldereta and menudo.  They are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday.  Dine-in or take-out as well as catering is available.  
Early Resultz Daycare & Learning Center
Early Resultz Daycare & Learning Center is now enrolling children for full and part –time care at their Bennett's Creek Shopping Center  location. Staff provide before and after -school care to children up to age twelve.  Transportation is provided for before and after school to and from Suffolk public schools. 
Designs by Carol Opens Downtown
Designs by Carol has opened for business at 126 W. Washington Street, in historic Downtown Suffolk.  The boutique store provides customized special event party rentals such as linens and decorating pieces.  Shoppers can browse among flower arrangements, vases, decorations, cake stands and table drapes suited to their special occasion needs.  
LogistXGames ~ June 8th
Suffolk will again host LogistXGames which matches area warehousing and distribution teams against each other in exciting logistics-minded competition.  This year's event is scheduled for June 8th and will be held at the brand new Virginia Regional Commerce Center - Building B off of Route 460.  To learn more, click here.  
Business Appreciation Picnic ~ June 16th
Join the Suffolk business community at the annual Business Appreciation Concert and Picnic, sponsored by the Suffolk Economic Development Authority.  This year's event is scheduled for June 16th from 6 - 9 p.m. at Constant's Wharf Park and Marina (at Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront).  Enjoy live music, food and refreshments.  RSVP to Terry Smith, Tasmith@suffolkva.us.

Business Spotlight - Tidewater Motorcycles
Tidewater Motorcycles has been independently owned and operated since 2003.  They offer a variety of makes and models for sale and also are a full-service repair and maintenance shop.  Staff perform repairs on both foreign and American made motorcycles.  Shoppers can also find parts, accessories and apparel along with customized customer service.  Owners Pam and Brian Mathis make a point to connect with the community by hosting chili dog socials, special fundraisers and breakfast rides.  Visit them at 4324 Godwin Boulevard.
