About Us
Please Help Save Our Blues, Roots & Jazz Musicians Deep in the Heart of Texas!
The Jazz Foundation brought over 1000 musicians and their families back after Katrina, by rehousing, donating top shelf instruments and creating paying gigs for hundreds. They were there for hundreds affected by Superstorm Sandy, and rebuilt the homes of the musicians who lost everything in last year's devastating floods in Baton Rouge.
They have started connecting with dozens of jazz, blues, and roots musicians in Harvey's wake, they will help them rebuild as they always do, repairing homes, replacing belongings and treasured instruments and even replacing work.

Your donation will provide miracles like basic necessities, clothing, bedding, instrument replacement, home cleaning and decontamination, rent/mortgage payments, car repairs, home reconstruction and financial support.
Texas brought us some the the greatest music that America has given to the world. Help the Jazz Foundation and rebuild the life of someone whose music was there for you during your times of need. You can donate here.
Saving blues, jazz, American roots music... one musician at a time!

Krystle Warren :: THREE THE HARD WAY
Krystle Warren – the singer, songwriter, bandleader, and Rufus Wainwright collaborator – released her first album in five years, Three The Hard Way, on August 18 on Parlour Door Music. NPR All Things Considered spoke with her about the announcement, calling her music “evocative storytelling."
Recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Ben Kane (D’Angelo, Emily King, PJ Morton), it’s also earned early spins on KCRW. Okayplayer hailed its announcement, calling her "a light in dark times," continuing, "If you're a fan of uncut soul and spirited R&B, Krystle Warren should not escape your gaze or rotation.” A potent mix of styles, Three The Hard Way swirls with R&B, folk music, jazz, hip hop, blues, gospel strains and yet is entirely original in its sound and scope, which ranges from spirituality and love to the effects of social media on our lives and gentrification. ...Find more about this CD and the artist

5th Annual Mighty Mississippi Music Festival returns to Greenville Sept 28 - Oct. 1
(Greenville, MS) - The fifth-annual Mighty Mississippi Music Festival returns to Greenville September 28 - Oct. 1. It all started on this fertile, flat delta land. History tells us that these Delta blues have influenced almost every genre of music that exists today.

Featured this year are St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Turnpike Troubadours, Shovels & Rope, Chris Knight, Casey James (Season 9, American Idol), Mississippi-based national blues sensation Jarekus Singleton and many more. The Highway 61 Blues Stage will host a world-class list of Delta blues staples including Toronzo Cannon and Cedric Burnside Project.

A new program will kick off the Festival on Thursday evening: The First Annual Mighty Mississippi Music Festival Singer-Songwriters Competition.
