National Day of Service and Remembrance
I just wanted to remind everyone that Monday, September 11, is The National Day of Service and Remembrance. It marks the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the attempted attack on the Capitol that was stopped by the heroes of Flight 93. President Bush created National Patriot Day to remember the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives on that day and to honor the actions of the brave men and women from the emergency services and the military who sacrifice to protect our homeland. Please take a moment to remember the victims and their families as well as the continuing efforts and sacrifices made by our military and law enforcement agencies to keep America safe.
