WINTER SOLSTICE CHANTING THEME: “Sounding the elements and the seasons, we are the two-leggeds honoring the essence of balance.”
We are asking the people chant the sounds of the elements (earth, water, fire, ether) and the sounds for the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter). The sacred sounds for the elements and seasons can be found here.
World-wide Call for Chanting
Please join the call to create a stream of continuous chanting for peace across the solstice. Peace chambers, groups and individuals from around the world will be joining in this annual event by chanting for an hour. Chanters are asked to devote most of the hour to chanting the sounds of the elements and the sounds of the seasons and then are invited to select their own chants or to engage in spontaneous chanting for peace.

|November 12th ~ Elders' Wisdom Teaching|
Wisdom from the Founders
Jeanne & Perry
Sunday, November 12th
at the Peace Sound Chamber
The "Elders Wisdom Teaching”
is an education and outreach series for the Center for Peace. An elder is featured each month and shares their wisdom and experiences on the spiritual path. It is a free public event.
Over 30 years ago, Perry and Jeanne Robinson began the journey which has become the Center For Peace. Through the years many varied experiences have been the seeds of wisdom that the Robinsons will share.
This is a free public event.
Donations to the Center for Peace are always appreciated.
About the September presenters:
Perry & Jeanne Robinson
approaches spiritual teaching from a broad background of study and experience. A graduate of Maryville College and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Perry was an active Presbyterian minister for eight years. In the 1970s, he took his personal quest outside the organized church.
A childhood experience with a South American shaman in the early 1950s gave Jeanne the mental preparation for the serious study of shamanism, which she would take up in 1988.
Donations are appreciated to further the work of the Center for Peace.
Please join us and please share this event.
Tuesday, November 7th
~ led by Katy Koontz
The purpose of the FIRE CEREMONY is to heal and purify both the planet’s physical oceans and the oceans of cosmic thought.
At 7 pm local time, fire elders light ceremonial fires at each of the Peace Sound Chambers around the world. Those present watch the fire in silence until it burns out, giving to it what we want to transmute in our lives and staying open to the messages and teachings it brings.
Come to the fire ceremony if you enjoy focused meditation, if you are looking for new ideas and insights, if you seek to release and transmute something that does not serve you, if you want to join in the service of healing the oceans (both physical and cosmic) or if you’re simply called to participate in a ceremony that honors this powerful elemental force.
We suggest you arrive by 6:45 pm.
All are welcome.
Donations are appreciated.

Monday Night Meditation
Several of the people who have been attending the Tuesday Night "Drumming, Meditation and Channeling" over the past several years have joined together as a group to continue on this path.
Since the group is evolving, we will be working on different subjects agreed on by the group:
We look hopefully forward to the occasional night that Perry might join us.
- guided meditation
- Reiki instruction
- we will listen to audio books or programs as a group
- discuss whatever comes in the door
- and many other subjects.
We look forward to seeing you this coming Monday at 7:30.
We are asking for sponsorship through monthly donations.
These donations do not need to be large but if those who love the Center for Peace could help by committing a few dollars on a monthly basis it could be the difference between always hoping that someday we will be able to build or provide those needed areas (i.e. showers, sleeping areas, restrooms) and actually making it happen.
