|We Love Pets, Just Like You..|
Happy it is! To all of you Mother's out there whether of human babies or pet babies, Happy Mother's Day month! Hoping your Mother's day was filled with love.
Mine was particularly poignant as I was able to spend it with my son Marshall. Many of you know he had been battling cancer since August of last year. Well he is officially in remission! What a blessing. He is happy, healthy and even growing his hair back!
Many thanks to all of you who supported him and my family spiritually, and otherwise. You lifted our family up in such a way that made it possible to get through a very difficult time.
Professionally, Good Dog! Coaching & Pet Care continues to flourish and grow due in large part to kind referrals from clients, our veterinary and groomer friends and the professional care and love our pet sitters share every day (365 days a year) with the pets in their care. We have added several new pet care givers to our team so please visit our Pet Sitter Bios page to get to know them!
So when you are visiting with family and friends remember, take time to listen to them, love them, tell them how you feel about them and hug them just a little bit tighter. Life is full of curve balls and you never know when one is coming your way.

Senior Cats Special Needs
Senior Cats, Special Needs
Just as human seniors may have special needs, so do senior cats.
A cat can be considered senior at ages 7-9 years and geriatric beyond that. As your cat ages, the process can be accompanied by physical and behavioral changes. These changes may not be outwardly obvious. Their immune system can be weaker than that of a younger cat. Dehydration which is common in older cats can further diminish blood circulation and immunity. READ MORE
Sitter Spotlight!- Kathy Cheek
Born & raised in Clarksville Georgia and a graduate of University of West Georgia,
Kathy has owned cats, dogs and a Parrotlet (miniature parrot) that lived to be 18 years old.
With the loss of her beloved dog Oscar in 2017 Kathy decided to fill the hole in her heart by sharing her love of animals with other people’s pets and become a pet sitter.
We are thrilled to have her as part of the Good Dog! Family. Her attention to details and huge heart will provide client’s who are lucky enough to have her visit their pets with loads of love and care.

Why Hire a Professional Pet Sitter vs a Neighbor or Friend?
|SUMMER IS FAST APPROACHING! You've made plans to travel but who will care for your loved ones? I mean, the furry loved ones???|
Here is a true story about a family who left their dog in a care of a close family friend during the holidays. Like many other in
dividuals out there, they’ve had friends care for the house and pets before without problems. Their dog would be allowed to stay in the comfort of his own home and even though they didn’t have to pay for it they made sure to give their friend a nice gift for being there and for helping out.
