|First Words of Hope Luncheon | April 25, 2018|
Thank you to everyone who attended our Eighth Annual First Words of Hope Luncheon, our biggest yet! Over 400 people gathered at Blue Ridge Community College to hear how St. Gerard House has impacted their lives and the lives of their loved ones. A special shout-out to the amazing table captains and volunteers who worked so hard to make this event possible. We are so blessed by all of your support and generosity.

YOU COLOR, U DONATE
Over two dozen local organizations and businesses pitched in to help with our You Color, U Donate campaign, and together we raised $790 for St. Gerard House! Thank you to United Federal Credit Union for supporting our cause, and congratulations to Lily from Fletcher for winning the raffle for a $500 dollar youth savings account.
This year’s spring Special Olympics has come and gone, and we are so proud of all of the St. Gerard students who participated! The Grotto 1 kids had a blast in the Olympic Village’s game booths, while our Grotto 2 students ran, threw and jumped their way through the many events offered, winning five gold medals and one silver medal in total. Check out the article from WLOS about the Special Olympics of Henderson County.
