Invasive Plant Removal at Mission Lagoon Saturday!

Join the Watershed Stewards Program and the Creeks Division for an invasive plant removal volunteer event at Mission Lagoon.

Help improve lagoon habitat by removing invasive plants, learn about the watershed, and make a difference in our community.

We will provide tools, gloves, and snacks. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen/hat, and wear closed-toe shoes.

Park at the Palm Park Parking Lot at Garden Street and E. Cabrillo Boulevard and meet next to Mission Lagoon by Stearns Wharf.

E-Waste Event Scheduled for May 4 and 5
Twice a year, the City's Trash and Recycling Division sponsors a free e-waste recycling event open to all area residents and businesses. Please help dispose of old electronics responsibly and bring them by!
Friday and Saturday, May 4th and 5th

E-waste is anything that runs on a plug or batteries. Items that will not be accepted include batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, large appliances, printer cartridges, media (CDs/DVDs, cassette, tapes, etc.), and air conditioners.
