Weekly Meditation:

This week for the meditation I want you to work to amplify your intuition and inner connection.  Often in life we feel alone or abandoned; even if we have loving friends and great relationships, there is this sense that we are not supported.  But truly, a loving Divine force is always there, waiting for us to connect if we would just take the time to create space and silence and tune IN.

Sit tall; close your eyes; resurrection breath (double exhale through the open mouth over the left shoulder).  Imagine bringing in pure, golden-white light through your crown, let it saturate you and then visualize thick white-light roots sinking down into the Earth, connecting and supporting you.  Surround yourself with the sacred, protective geometry of the octahedron.

Then begin lunar breathing; gently sealing the crease of the right nostril with your right thumb and breathing smoothly into the left nostril; sealing the left nostril; and exhaling out of the right nostril.  Repeat the process, only breathing in through the left; only breathing out through the right.  Keep your tongue and throat relaxed, and keep the breaths smooth and similar in intensity and duration.

Continue for at least 12 rounds, and then simply let your hand relax back down to your lap, and steep in the aftereffect of your practice.

Then imagine you are standing out in a field surrounded by beautiful white-capped mountains.  Wind blowing, you are wrapped in elaborate robes.  Then visualize in your mind an ornate, golden archway.  You are standing on one side; and you can see someone approaching in the distance, coming down from the moutains.  Watch them as they move towards you and then see them; what do they look like?  Do you know this person?  Accept them as your guide in this moment.  Imagine bringing your hands to prayer and bowing to them; and them bowing to you.  And then ask them .... "What do I need to know right now?"  See what they have to say to you.

Complete your practice with gratitude; prayer; and by blessing all beings, everywhere.

Shanti, my friends,

Jill
