Happy April!
Happy April Everyone!
PAWFEST IS COMING! NEXT MONTH. New location and goings on! Things are heating up! As the weather gets better you can bet there will be many pet related events to enjoy with your furry family.

We had a great turn out at the first annual South Gwinnett Pet Fest at Lenora Park last month. Thank you to all who came out, visited our booth, kissed Cole in the kissing booth and donated to a great cause (Animal Alliance of Georgia). Next year is sure to be even better!
I'm excited to visit my oldest son Michael who lives in Oregon this year. It will be the first time I've been to his new home! He usually comes here to visit. We haven't gone away with everything that has been going on with Marshall. At this time Marshall is still fighting the good fight. He continues to receive treatments and is keeping a positive attitude through it all. He truly is a fighter. He's living life with his sweet girl Angela and moving forward. We continue to need your prayers as they lift us up and keep us going. Thank you all for your prayers, positive thoughts and support.
We've got a lot going on in this newsletter so be sure to scroll all the way down so you don't miss a thing. Local events, recipes and especially our positive thought for the month!
Thank you again for your continued patronage. We love serving you!

Do you have a selfie with your pet? Post on our FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM pages to share, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Good Dog! Spotlight: Pet of the Month

 Meet Jackson!
This is Jackson! He is one of our newest clients along with his two siblings, Champ and Barkley. He's a 2 year old Rottweiler, who loves to play fetch, go on walks, and trying to fit into your lap! Jackson is a big love-bug with a playful attitude.
A male Rottweiler will stand anywhere from 24 to 27 muscular inches at the shoulder; females run a bit smaller and lighter. The glistening, short black coat with smart rust markings add to the picture of imposing strength. A thickly muscled hindquarters powers the Rottie’s effortless trotting gait.
A well-bred and properly raised Rottie will be calm and confident, courageous but not unduly aggressive. The aloof demeanor these world-class guardians present to outsiders belies the playfulness, and downright silliness, that endear Rotties to their loved ones. (No one told the Rottie he’s not a toy breed, so he is liable plop onto your lap for a cuddle.) Early training and socialization will harness a Rottie’s territorial instincts in a positive way.

Dog Food, You Can Get Better For Less

Sitter Spotlight: Abbie
Abbie is one of our hardest working pet sitters. She's been a part of the Good Dog family for over 6 years! When she began with us she had three pups, Baby, Chica and Chloe. Well things have changed a bit since then. She only has Chloe now but she also has a son named Graham! She works a full time job as well as pet sitting with Good Dog. She is a super hero!
Here's her story... When I was a little girl, I lived in a rural area, far away from my classmates, so my dog, was literally my best friend. The bond I shared with my dog was immeasurable and I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals. Currently, I am a volunteer with two animal rescue organizations so I have experience with a variety of dogs. When I’m not spending time taking care of the dogs at the animal shelter, I’m “MOM” to my dog, Chloe. Chloe is my baby and I spoil her rotten. I can assure you that I will treat your “babies” like they were my own, not only because I’m an animal lover, but because it’s how I want my “baby” treated while I’m away.
