MONTHLY TUITION & SHOPPE DATES
Please remember that your tuition is averaged for the year. Your monthly fee continues in June. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
 
Items from the Shoppe must be paid for at the time of purchase and not put on the account. The Shoppe will be closed after June 14th! Come in to the Shoppe and get your Recital tights and supplies before June 14th! There will be no tights available at the Theatre. Please get your supplies early! 
 
All balances must be cleared by June 15th to participate in the Recital!
PARADE
 
All students will be marching in the Carpinteria 4th of July Parade!
Saturday, June 29, 2019!!
Parade starts at 5:00 p.m. Please line
up in recital costumes, tennis shoes
and socks at 4:30 p.m. in front of the studio. If you would like you could
also wear something red/white/blue.  Everyone in the studio is welcome
and encouraged to join us.

The recital costumes cannot be replaced and therefore, must be kept out of the reach of anything that could destroy them!!

The dancers have worked very hard and are eager to perform for you! This is their special time so we are doing everything we can to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
 
Over many years of putting on recitals, we have found that putting on a successful recital depends upon addressing and adhering to several important rules. Please read the rules below and call me with any questions.

Backstage RULES for the JUNE RECITAL
  • Arrive a half-hour before the performance time.
  • Go directly to the dressing room. 
  • Quietly put on your costume, shoes and accessories. Keep costumes free of makeup and mishaps. Do hair and make-up before coming to the dressing room. NO MEN ALLOWED IN DRESSING ROOMS!
  • Behave quietly and respectfully in the hallway and backstage while you are waiting to perform. Be ready to line-up quietly when you are told.
  • Keep room clean. No gum, candy, drinks, or food in the theater, back stage, or dressing rooms.
  • Remain quietly in your group until you are called upon by parent/guardian.
  • Dress Rehearsals are mandatory.
THERE WILL BE NO ONE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE OTHER THEN THE DANCERS
DURING PRACTICE AND RECITAL. NO EXCEPTIONS!
 
THERE WILL BE NO PROVIDED SUPERVISION FOR YOUR DANCER WHILE WAITING TO PERFORM. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN SUPERVISION IN THE DRESSING ROOMS FOR YOUR DANCER.
I regret the inconvenience this may cause some of you,
but I can't take the responsibility of possible unsupervised children.
 
PLEASE VOLUNTEER AND TAKE TURNS WITH OTHER
PARENT/GUARDIANS TO STAY IN THE DRESSING ROOM
WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR DANCE!
 
What to Bring & Helpful Tips: A blanket for kids to sit on. NO SNACKS! Activities for the kids (books, crayons (no makers/paints). A laptop or iPad for movies. Quiet games.
 
MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN!!!
Your help is very much appreciated.
 
Tights and supplies will be available in the 9th Street Shoppe
until June 14, 2019. There will be no tights available at the Theatre.
Please get your supplies early! 
SUMMER DANCE CAMPS and INTENSIVES
Dance Camp & Dance Intensives have been scheduled. These camps and intensives have proven to be an educational and very fun experience for the students. The camps and intensives fill up quickly and requires a deposit to reserve a place. Please sign up at the shoppe or e-mail Bonnie at bonniecurtis1@cox.net.
