Blues News You Can Use!
Sum-Sum-Summertime
The signs of summer are upon us as temperatures climb and most of us look
to soon dry out from the heavy spring rains. Another "sign" of summer is more outdoor music venues hosting awesome nights of your favorite local and regional musicians. Since this week is a low
news week, I would like to highlight
a part of this newsletter, the calendar.
Each week I visit local community calendars and the websites of various venues that are known to host blues artists in an effort to compile a helpful calendar of local music for our readers.
Of course venues come and go, at least
in terms of their music offerings, and this often leads to a minimally filled out calendar. This is where I can use your help. I suspect there are a number of additional venues who are likely hosting some of your favorite music and would greatly appreciate your help in directing me to the websites. Please remember, however, that time does not allow me to visit individual artist/band websites. Artists and their fans may however email me at the address below with dates of performances that fall within any upcoming two week calendar cycle. Emails must be received by 9 pm Thursday night each week.  Just click the link below to email Sandy.

And always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send feedback or suggestions our way. You can reach me by email at the address below. We LOVE our readers and want to see
your ideas included!
~Sandy McCann
