New Learning Management System for CBO Consortium
The Western Region CBO Consortium will now be using EasyLMS, a learning management system that will allow members centralized access to educational materials. Under an Upstate New York Community-Based Organization (CBO) Consortium planning grant, the Consortium is working to recruit and coordinate new CBOs in areas underserved by the NYS DSRIP program. Now, technical-assistance webinars will be recorded, uploaded and available to member CBOs to build business strategies to adopt a value-based payment system and address social determinants of health.

I want to congratulate Healthy Community Alliance (HCA) for taking on this state-wide initiative. To date, there are 240 participating CBOs in New York State. Please take time to visit their new website, www.cboconsortium.org, if your agency is interested in participating or for more information.
Southern Tier Council Meeting
I attended the Southern Tier Council meeting with Millennium Collaborative Care on Wednesday at Olean General Hospital (OGH). The session envisioned the ongoing role of the Southern Tier Council in transforming health care across Western New York and the Southern Tier. I’d like to thank OGH for hosting the meeting. I’d also like to thank Al Hammonds, Executive Director of Millennium CC, for the helpful updates on his organization as well as the NYS Department of Health (DOH) and the DSRIP program. STHCS looks forward to working alongside the Council and other community agencies to promote quality care in our communities.
