Good Dog! Spotlight: Pet of the Month
Roman is a sweet sensitive little Boston Terrier puppy who just finished up obedience training with us and will soon be
boarding with one of our lucky Private Boarding Pet Sitters.
This little guy is smart as a whip. During our training together he learned sit, down, place, walking nicely on the leash, coming when called and more. At just over 10 months he is a fast learner for sure. His mom and dad are working on reinforcing all the good behaviors Roman learned during our time together.
The Boston Terrier is a compactly built, square-proportioned, short-backed, clean-cut dog. This breed conveys the impression of determination, strength, sturdiness, liveliness, and style, with a graceful carriage. The Boston retains many of the attributes of his Bulldog ancestors, but in a clean-cut package that makes a handy house companion. The short fine coat, with distinctive markings, adds to this breed’s dapper appearance.
Boston Terriers have been popular since their creation a little more than a century ago. They were originally bred to be fighting dogs, but today, they’re gentle, affectionate companions with tuxedo-like markings that earned them the nickname “American Gentleman.”
Roman is certainly a gentleman and the apple of his daddy's eye.
WHAT IS A BOARD & TRAIN HYBRID PROGRAM?
With our BOARD & TRAIN HYBRID Programs, the dog you have today, doesn’t have to be the dog you have tomorrow.
Happier owners and happier dogs!
You AND your dog will be better educated and HAPPIER!
WELCOME TO BOARD & TRAIN HYBRID BY GOOD DOG! COACHING & PET CARE
Most Board & Train programs give little follow up care to the
owner. It’s all about the time spent with the dog while it’s boarding. While this is great for the dog, what is the owner
learning? This philosophy makes it very difficult for the dog and their owners to succeed in the long run.
You see, dog trainers can train dogs. That’s a given. But, in the long run the dog lives with the owner so, the owner needs to learn how to maintain what was taught to the dog in the first place. The owner needs training as much as the dog does! An hour or two at the training facility when they pick up their dog isn’t going to cut it. Not remotely. When the dog goes home, the owners are ill equipped for the flashback that the dog will most assuredly experience. At Good Dog! Coaching & Pet Care we give you more, much more. LEARN MORE >>> HERE
