Connect Announces 2020 Summer Camp Dates
Preregistration is now open
St. Gerard House's programs seek to accommodate all aspects of need for the people with autism and the families we serve to infuse their lives with more joy! Connect is a program that SGH developed for kids ages 6 - 19 who need a little boost with their social interactions. This summer camp and drama club teaches participants skills to add to their social toolboxes, helping equip them to express themselves, relate their needs, and make connections and friendships more easily.
Check out our newly revamped Connect page on the SGH website for more information about Connect's awesome programming!

SGH Staff Retreat Highlights Mission, Outstanding Staff
Jenny Baker recognized as 2019 Unsung Hero
The connection was palpable in the late summer air, as staff, board members, and friends of St. Gerard House gathered at Camp Pinnacle mid-September for the annual staff retreat. There was an emotional history of the organization given by Caroline, an inspiring speech by Father Nick, and a refresher of values for those at St. Gerard House to aspire to embody. Adventure Treks fielded team-building activities, hilarious antics in a vegetable battle, and an epic all-staff game of rock, paper, scissors.

A new award was unveiled, honoring Jenny Baker this year for her dedicated service conveying humility, leadership, and compassion to her work at St. Gerard House. Jenny has been with The Grotto team for over four years.
We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Camp Pinnacle for generously allowing us to use their space to reflect on the heart of our mission. To see all the heartwarming moments from SGH's staff retreat, find the album on Facebook.
