St. Gerard House is now hiring an Academic Program Assistant. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, non exempt. The Academic Program Assistant’s overall responsibility is to assist and provide support to the Academic Program Coordinator in the individualized academic curriculum for school-aged children with autism in the Grotto Program.The applicant should be an individual who has a positive attitude and works well on a team. Connect is a program that SGH developed for kids ages 6 - 19 who need a little boost with their social interactions. This summer camp and drama club teaches participants skills to add to their social toolboxes, helping equip them to express themselves, relate their needs, and make connections and friendships more easily.
