Fresh Local Christmas Trees
|
Real is real. Fragrant and beautiful – when you buy one of our local Christmas trees you are supporting a local farmer. These trees are eco-friendly/ completely biodegradable and grown in the USA. They are NOT manufactured from plastic in China, and they fill your home with the unbeatable fragrance of Frasier fir. Real is real.
WLOS suggests getting your tree early, because supplies are short this year.

When Owls Talk &
Our Gratitude
|
FROM WILMA: There is still a bit of fall color left on the mountainsides – red oaks and beech trees hold onto their foliage and seem to glow in the afternoon sun. Late fall is one of my favorite times to hike as well as to putter in the garden. I like the evenings too, when stars glitter on cold, clear nights and owls “talk” to each other from the ridge tops.
Thanksgiving also makes this a special season. One of my earliest memories is that of being in the kitchen with my grandmother and “helping” her sprinkle sage into the Thanksgiving dressing. She was a great cook (and gardener) and most everything on the menu was something she had grown.
At this Thanksgiving season we wish to thank you, our gardening friends, for your patronage throughout the seasons. Thank you for sharing in our celebration of forty years in business!
