Special Health Insurance Enrollment Period

 We have been continuing to work remotely to fulfill our crucial rural health mission. Our NYS of Health insurance navigators are hard at work, facilitating phone applications and offering any assistance for people seeking affordable coverage. The Marketplace has opened a special enrollment period for uninsured individuals in response to COVID-19. Phone assistance with one of our navigators is available to anyone that needs help. Anyone who needs or knows someone in need of insurance should click here to set up an appointment.
I want to thank all health care providers that have continued to put their well being on the line to ensure they are taking care of our community members. To ensure the STHCS mission continues to be met, several of us have been working remotely. This can be very challenging, and I'd like to thank them for their ongoing commitment. ClearTouch Interactive Panels

 We have now installed three ClearTouch panels to continue to enhance the experience at our training center. These interactive technology solutions are designed for the demands and requirements of today's collaborative environments (including social distancing). They enable students and team members to engage a world of information while online. The high-tech capability will be ideal for use across many of our training programs, especially our EMT and Paramedic courses. Our instructors will be able to use large displays to deliver course material and run applications as content at multiple sites. Trainees will also enjoy memory-retention games and hands-on practice opportunities.
We look forward to employing this new way of learning in our programs.
