I am pleased to share, The Good Works Institute, Inc. (GWI) has funded our Safe Summer Bike Helmets program. This interactive community campaign will provide helmets to families in need, incentives for those who set a good example, and role models for children who need inspiration.

 

Our Safe Kids Southern Tier New York (SKSTNY) coalition will support the Safe Summer Bike Helmets program and leverage existing partnerships with EMS agencies through our Southern Tier Emergency Medical System (STEMS) program. Children living in our three counties will receive free bicycle helmets if they are seen riding without one or will be rewarded with a $5 amazon gift card if they are seen wearing a helmet while riding.

I want to take a moment to honor all the nurses who give of themselves. They are on the front lines every day, night, weekend, holiday — they are extraordinary individuals who continue to do a phenomenal job.
