It is with regret that we must inform you that we are cancelling All-State face to face performances originally scheduled for March 2021. Due to continued COVID restrictions across the state, we had no choice but to take this step. We will come up with a plan to audition and select the group so that All-State recognition can still be in place and All State Academic status be recognized. Details regarding audition platform and process will be forthcoming and posted on the LMEA website as the LMEA board devises a plan. In the meantime, we encourage your students to participate in the District level solo and small ensemble festival. Our goal is to have information regarding both All-State auditions and solo festival by mid-January.
The safety of student musicians, teachers and conductors always comes first. We are sorry and disappointed that circumstances deem this action necessary.
