 Midland Real Estate Trends

There are many weak economic reports in the world today, yet the Midland real estate market continues to perform positively. July saw a record high average sales price of $370,512, and August had a strong $359,869 (our 5th highest monthly average ever).  A year to date average sales price of $343,087 is only off 0.8% from last year's average of $345,828.  The time on the market remains an extremely healthy 46 days and the number of homes currently available for sale is 809, which has decreased 7.4% from the prior month's 874 homes.  With record low recent interest rates of 2.5% and our very healthy inventory of homes available across all price ranges, it is an ideal time for buyers and sellers to make their next move.
