I am honored and humbled to announce that I have been selected as one of the recipients of The New York State Association for Rural Health 2020 Senator McGee Rural Health Award.  My respect for Senator McGee is immense, and that makes this honor even more special. However, this is not my award—it really belongs to the STHCS staff, Board of Directors, and all the people I work with. All their talents and abilities have empowered me to do what I love to do—work to improve rural health and wellness in the communities we serve.  As our motto proclaims, we really “are better together”! I want to thank each of you for your support and guidance over the years.

Next week, November 9–13, 2020, is Forensic Provider Week. This special week has been dedicated to honor the extraordinary work of providers who practice in this unique specialty.
