 Midland Real Estate Trends

As we enter Thanksgiving week we are thankful to share that the Midland real estate market continues to show incredible stability and outperforms most markets in our state, despite the uncertainties we face.  The average sales price for the month is $346,680 and up 4.7% over last year's $330,963 for the same period. The monthly average is also outpacing the year-to-date average of $344,140. An average time of 47 days on the market is indicative of an extremely healthy market and the number of homes currently available for sale of 755 is down 15.8% from August's high of 874 homes. The extremely low 30-year fixed mortgages of 2.5% coupled with our solid homes available across all price ranges makes this an unusually good time for both buyers and sellers.
