A Virtual Event

Charley Thweatt returns to NTCH for the first time in almost five years. His visits always include an easy-going style of delivering his insightful message and his original music. Since 1981 Charley has inspired tens of thousands of people in 15 countries on 6 continents. He has also been the musical opener for such luminaries as Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass, Tony Robbins, and Louise Hay. This Sunday he will share several stories as part of a talk, called "The Bows of Our Boats." You'll discover that this phrase is a beautiful metaphor for what is perhaps both the simplest and the most challenging spiritual task we all have -- being awake in the moment.

Introduction to K9 Nose Work Class
K9 Nose Work is a fun search, and scenting activity that enables dogs to use their natural abilities to hunt. If you have a dog with a nose – you have a K9 Nose Work Dog!

This beginning class focuses on your dog using his nose to seek out hidden rewards in one of several boxes. As your dog becomes more confident with his nose, the game expands to the search of rooms, exterior areas, and vehicles.
Every dog as a natural ability to succeed with Nose Work.

No formal obedience training is needed.

Shy and fearful dogs can have fun because the dogs as kept separated and the game is played one dog at a time.

It is a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy!

Help us earn a name on YouTube!
Please subscribe to the New Thought YouTube channel if you haven’t already. Once we have 100 subscribers, we can choose a suitable name. At present our channel ID is just an odd collection of letters and numbers. At last count, we had 92 subscribers.

One benefit is getting an e-mail reminder when a live stream is about to begin. Another is easy access to past services, most of which have been archived on the channel since mid-April.

Here’s how. To subscribe, go to the end of last week’s Sunday service video. Here’s the direct link: https://youtu.be/Pn7B0X8uMI8

The end screen includes the New Thought logo. When you touch or click on it, you can see the invitation to become a subscriber. Thank you for helping us earn a name!

It could be for office, retail, therapeutic or educational use. Gentle Evolutionary Yoga Flow

Mondays, 5:00 - 6:30 pm, Kealakekua HI

Gentle Vinyasa - All Levels Welcome – Blissful – Friendly -- Non-Competitive

Are you willing to feel more comfort, aliveness, and connection with yourself, others, and the planet? To embody the vision of your Higher Self? To heal trauma? To harvest your innate wisdom?
Do you want to enhance your ability to do the work you love in the world while loving the world as it is and yourself just as you are?
You can, by learning and aligning with the Laws of Nature. Your body is an ocean of Living Spirit and needs a balance of authentic movement, stretch, rhythm, and stillness to thrive. In these relaxing, energizing classes, you’ll clear the mind, strengthen your immune system, align your spine, and renew your endurance, joy, and Soul’s purpose to engage more fully in these transformative times.
Classical yoga postures, woven together like flowers on a lei with the thread of the breath, summon Light, Love, and authentic power. Movement dispels negativity and wakes up our divine nature. We deepen body sensitivity, intuition, clarity, and creativity.
The asana shapes of plants, animals, birds, reptiles, elementals, and geometric forms elevate us while bonding us viscerally with all species. Aligning with Nature’s wisdom redirects nerve conduction and endocrine secretions into more holistic, compassionate ways of being.
Yogis from beginner to advanced love the powerful body changes and spiritual transformations from this unique and incremental form of Evolutionary Yoga Flow. You are worth the effort to be your best, to evolve the rest, and to know that you are blessed! Feel it now and nurture a better tomorrow in these Monday Yoga rituals.
Enjoy Yoga in the Spirit Worlds at a Sanctuary for your Soul on the New Thought Center’s open-air Lanai.  Attendees are invited to wear a mask to enter and exit but can remove them in class with 6-foot distancing.

Kona Living Aloha
Loving Support Circle

Weekly Co-Ed Loving Support Circle for Men and Women meets on Thursdays starting at 6 pm for one to two hours. If no one arrives by 6:10, the meeting is cancelled.

Since we need to know the size of the group, please call or text me with RSVP to reserve your spot.

We meet to practice active listening with an open heart and mind. Neuroscience shows us that when we are truly present with person(s) in front of us and lean into another's experience (without judgment or need to fix anything) we naturally feel more connected, are strengthening our heart muscle, and are rewiring our brains.

Each person is encouraged to check in briefly (1-2 sentences) on how feeling, what learning about self and life, share a gratitude, or ask for support around something weighing on mind. When the floor is opened, there will more time to share. We practice telling the truth about ourself, listening to the speaker, and asking for what we want. We learn to be responsible for our thinking and choices, which results in greater peace of mind, and experiencing more love in all areas of life. The host navigates the flow of the group.

Suggested Donation $5 for use of the facility while there or visit: www.newthoughtcenterofhawaii.com

Due to social distancing practices, attendees are required to wear a mask.

Since we need to know the size of the group, please call or text me with RSVP to reserve your spot.

Unable to make it in person? You can join us via Zoom. Meeting ID is 642-825-6522, and Password is 477454.

Crystal Bowl Healing Meditations

We are temporarily suspending the bowl meditations due to the increased number of COVID19 cases in West Hawaii over the past 2 weeks. Crystal Bowl healing meditations resumed on Sunday, October 4, under the leadership of Erin Peepels. Our intention was to offer that option on the Sundays when the main service is online rather than in-person. Bowl meditations will resume as soon as the Board of Trustees deems it safe again. Stay tuned!
