You can also read this message in your web browser.
World AIDS Day is one week from today. Although we can’t meet in person, we will still celebrate virtually!
Visit the WNCAP pages on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter throughout the day on Tuesday, December 1st. We will remember those lost to HIV/AIDS, celebrate the Volunteers of the Year, and more!
Mini Docs filmmaker Francine Cavanaugh interviews Jody Cross about her journey from WNCAP client to Community Navigator
World AIDS Day will also feature the premiere of the WNCAP Mini-Docs, a series of short documentaries that tell the stories of some of the people we serve in WNC.
Each Mini-Doc illuminates one or more inspiring individuals who have been affected by HIV or substance use. These extraordinary folks have overcome daunting challenges to survive, thrive, and help others do the same.

World AIDS Day falls on Giving Tuesday this year, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to every single community member who has donated to WNCAP.
2020 has been a particularly difficult year for people living with or affected by HIV, and every dollar you give directly helps someone in our local community survive and thrive! Thank you for your kindness.
'Tis The Season
Merry & Bright Holiday Gift Drive
Many WNCAP clients cannot afford to give their children presents for the holidays. We believe ALL children deserve a happy holiday. That’s why we are once again asking for help for our Merry & Bright Holiday Gift Drive.
Every year, generous community members donate money, toys, and gift-wrapping supplies so that our case managers can fulfill dozens of children’s wish lists.
Especially this year, which has been so dark for so many, we want the holidays to be a bright spot for children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
We are accepting donations into the month of December. For more information, email Chris at wncapvolunteer@wncap.org or call (828) 252-7489.
Giving Thanks
