WNCAP Has Sterilized Our Offices
At WNCAP, our priority is and will always be to provide safe, reliable services to our clients and participants while maintaining a safe environment for teammates. We also believe that clients, participants, and staff deserve transparency.
Last week, we learned that a teammate had tested positive for COVID-19. We took immediate action and closed our offices, worked with all team members who had been in the office to get tested, and cleaned/sterilized the offices.
As of Monday, all teammates with exposure tested negative at least 5 days after their exposure and quarantined for an additional period of time as a precautionary measure. Having observed CDC guidelines, we were confident to reopen on Tuesday, 1/19/21.
We are immensely grateful for everyone in the community who wished us well and expressed concern. We are very happy to all be safe, healthy, and back to work!
Feel free to reach out to us at info@wncap.org with any questions about our COVID safety precautions.
Generous Community
Thank You For Your Support!
During the Year-End Giving season, we explained how folks living with HIV are more vulnerable now than any time since the peak of the AIDS epidemic. Well, you answered our call! Thank you so much to everyone who supported us with year-end giving.
Because of your generosity, we have raised over $12,000 in December and January, plus over $3,000 for our Merry & Bright Holiday Gift Drive. That means we were able to help hundreds of people stay healthy, housed and fed... not to mention a lot of happy kids!
This winter is tough for everyone, but especially for people living with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, and substance use disorder. The impact of COVID makes your gift more valuable than ever this season.
