Our Farm raised vegetables are sustainably grown using organic methods. We just got a fresh shipment on Thursday and have a tasty variety of tomatoes and peppers with many more transplants on the way. |
|Arbor Day Redbud Giveaway on 4-30-21|
|To celebrate Arbor Day 2021, we are giving away baby bare-root REDBUDS to the first 100 customers who make a purchase (limit one per family). Redbuds have been blooming everywhere - along the roadways and in yards – it is a well-loved native tree and an early spring bloomer.|
About Eastern Redbud: Cercis canadensis is an understory tree that is native to the entire southeastern United States, and most of eastern and central North America. Redbud is one of the first trees to bloom in spring providing an early source of nectar to insects, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The heart-shaped leaves emerge after bloom.
Plant in full sun to part sun in well-drained soil. 20-30’ Tall x 25-35’ wide, but usually smaller in the mountains. Zone 4-9.
Trees are the lungs of the planet, they moderate temperatures, and provide shade and habitat for wildlife.

|New - The Fire Fairy Earrings|
Jennifer Kelting, The Fire Fairy,
has been practicing the art of Lampworking Italian Glass Crystal since 1997. Her earrings and jewelry are made using a glass torch. Jennifer works in various medias and feels blessed by her family, the healing power of art, and living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Jennifer’s work can be found in our Garden Shop.
|After seven years Bret Duncan has moved on to a new adventure. He will be greatly missed by everyone at Reems Creek Nursery. Beyond being our tree/shrub buyer, Bret was knowledgeable in all aspects of horticulture and very generous in sharing his knowledge with customers and staff alike. We will do our best to carry on the torch of knowledge. We wish him the absolute best in his future endeavors.|

Bee sweet to our pollinators, butterflies, and hummingbirds by creating a smorgasbord of beautiful blooming plants and butterfly host plants that provide much-needed habitat for pollinators. With an emphasis on native plants, these lively gardens are full of color, support wildlife, and bring you delight throughout the season. We’ll discuss garden design principles that enhance the effectiveness of your pollinator habitat, the basic needs of any pollinator garden, and we will touch on certifying your Pollinator Habitat through Asheville-Bee City USA.
