 This past week was the 46th annual National EMS Week. In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. This year's theme is This Is EMS: Caring for Our Communities.
Throughout this week, several cookouts were held to celebrate EMS week and the providers that serve our rural community.
We are proud to work with these individuals every day and are proud for everything they have done, especially this past year, and continue to do to serve the residents of our region.

Yesterday concluded the 4-day Child Passenger Seat Technician course that we held in partnership with Ardent Solutions. This course resulted in 14 individuals completing the course and will now serve as CPSTs. Individuals from various law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies as well as our Safe Kids Coordinator, Sydney, completed this course.
