Today, October 1, is a busy day for StrOlean! From 2 to 6 p.m. we will have many events taking place. Here at STHCS, we will have a table set up in our storefront promoting the various programs to improve our rural community's health and wellness. We will also be providing information regarding our health insurance enrollment.
Inside STHCS in the Training Center, individuals from the City of Olean Fire Department will be available to teach interested individuals how to Stop the Bleed and perform Hands-Only CPR to save a life! The training teaches Hands-Only CPR and essential bleeding control. If you are interested in this training, stop by STHCS anytime.
Lastly, down at the City of Olean Fire Department at 542 N. Union St., we will be hosting a Fire Safety Chalk Art Day to celebrate the first day of Fire Safety Month! Kids will be using the front apron at the fire station as their canvas and will get to draw a fire safety picture.
We are happy to be able to host these community events!
