A tribute: Yachak Taita Don Alberto Taxo.
A “Mother Tree,” one of the tallest trees in our forest, fell. This majestic tree was a treasured habitat for many people around the globe and an abundance of invaluable ancient High Andes practical and mystical wisdom. My teacher, a long-time friend, and one of Shaman Portal’s Andes Summits esteemed presenters Taita Don Alberto Taxo, the Atis-Kichwa Master Yachak of Cotopaxi, Ecuador, succumbed to Coronavirus. He soared into the cosmos with his giant wingspan of the White Condor that he was.
Don Alberto’s life is an inspiring model of embodying the real meaning of a contemporary shaman. A wise, soft-spoken, kind-hearted but fierce teacher. A powerful but gentle healer who was not wearing feathers and costumes. An author, an active national and regional political and community leader and organizer, a charismatic and courages fighter for indigenous rights, and most importantly, a loving family man and a good father.
As the Andes Condor and the Eagle prophecy predicted over 500 years ago, Don Alberto taught us that this is the time the heart-based Condor of the South and the mind-based Eagle of the North will finally fly together in a dance of cooperation and peace. He taught us to embrace the return of the feminine energies in our societies. This is a time we each must become Mother Trees and support each other. Spread the healing message of love to many others so our grandchildren will flourish.
Let us all carry Don Alberto’s legacy forward.

This intimate Zoom was taken from his home and outdoor around the fire in Ecuador for our Virtual 3rd Annual Andes Summit (01:50.05 hour). You are invited to watch it and support his family. 100% of the proceed will be going to Veronica's Fund now that Don Alberto passed on. Don Alberto shared his belief in living from our illuminated hearts with gratitude and love for all around us. How to protect Pachamama from emotional and physical pollution. An "Energy Vampire" is a phrase coined for someone who feeds off other people's life force. Sometimes intentionally and occasionally unconsciously, they try to overcome their wounded low self-esteem by gaining personal power, control, and authority over others.
A 'vampire' may seduce their unsuspected victims by employing a web of deceit by reviving old dormant traumas and creating unnecessary drama, never taking personal responsibility, and constantly dwelling on being a victim. They have an acute sense that could easily manipulate their prey. Their tools are to provoke pithiness, regularly flattering their victims, become inseparable and needed by the victim, and spread strategic poisonous gossip.
It leaves those targeted drained of positive energy. It can lead to sickness, depression, loss of sense of reality, and accurate judgment.
This webinar will explore a few ways to recognize if you are currently or in the past targeted, what you can do to shield yourself off, shamanic healing tools to protect yourself, and the process of rejuvenation.
