10% Off Perennials!
Shop our fabulous selection of Sun and Shade perennials, Toe Ticklers, pollinator plants, native plants, and perennial grasses*. We are celebrating Perennial Gardening Month and Pollinator Month with this special sale.
Create something beautiful that can be enjoyed every year! Consult our Garden Guide Perennial Bloom Time to plant for blooms all season long.
June is the perfect time to add more perennials to an existing perennial bed, start a brand new bed, or plant flowers and host plants for pollinators. Strive to push the window on both ends of the season (early and late blooming) and everywhere in between. Group 3 to 5 of the same perennial plants together for a showier, more satisfying garden. For maximum enjoyment locate your flower beds where you can see them from inside the house too.
Pollinator gardens are full of life and color AND they provide food for bees, butterflies and caterpillars. We have some great pollinator gardening resources on our website here. Native plants are especially nourishing to native pollinator populations. Staff is happy to help you find what you are looking for.
*Sale excludes mini-conifers, vines, butterfly bushes & shrubs.

Hydrangeas - All Four Types
What speaks of summer more than a hydrangea? We are seeing the big leaf, smooth leaf, and oakleaf hydrangeas showing buds and blooms here and in the landscape. So lovely! Then panicle hydrangeas bloom later in the summer with a big POW!

Lots of Veggie Transplants!
The tables are loaded with veggie garden transplants – lots of tomatoes including heirlooms, sweet & hot peppers, summer & winter squash, cucumbers and more. These veggies were raised sustainably on our Propagation Farm and will soon produce delicious food.

FROM WILMA: June is a month of special days - weddings, graduations, D-Day (6th), Flag Day (14th), Father’s Day (19th), Juneteenth (19th), and longest day (Summer Solstice 21st). A few lesser-known days are Go Barefoot Day (1st), Herb and Spice Day (10th), and Weed Your Garden Day (13th). June is National Fruit and Vegetable Month, National Adopt a Cat Month, National Outdoors Month, and many others including Perennial Gardening Month and National Pollinators Month.
Celebrate Perennial Gardening Month by rejuvenating or making a new perennial garden. I am excited about having a new perennial/pollinator garden area in my yard. There is a tempting array of perennials at the Garden Center with lots more being grown at our Farm. Take advantage of our perennial sale that will continue throughout the month of June.
June is also Pollinator Month. There are lots of flowering plants in our pollinator garden located in back of the Garden Shop. I sometimes find myself (and some of you) mesmerized by pollinator activity in it. We are hosting a pollinator gardening workshop in June. See information below.
Wilma Penland is the co-founder of Reems Creek Nursery and our horticultural mentor.
