Kolo Bike Park Intro to Mountain Biking Clinic- Ages 15+- Saturdays, November 11 & December 9
|
Mountain Biking 101 Clinic- An introduction to mountain biking focusing on the fundamental skills, designed to keep you safe and get you out on the trails having fun. The clinic will cover the basic operation of your bike, braking, shifting gears, what to check before going on a ride, basic positioning, and learning some fundamental maneuvers to build your skills. Then we will practice what we have learned on the variety of trails and features at Kolo Bike Park.
Ages 15+, adults and youth, $75/person ($100/person if bike rental needed), 1-3 pm on Saturdays, November 11 & December 9. Reservations are required.

Mountain Bike Clinics for ADVANCED RIDERS ages 8-15. Sessions run from 10am-5pm. Sessions are $75/each.
Shred sessions are an opportunity for your experienced shredder to ride the park under the supervision of our skilled coaches. Pumping, jumping, drops, cornering, and a variety of other skills will be practiced and drilled on our 125+ acre bike park. This program is designed for Advanced young riders who are looking to improve upon their skills, and riders should feel comfortable riding blue level trails and be excited about jumping.
- Day session on November 18th
- $75 per session
- Drop off from 9:30-10am, pick up from 4pm-5pm.
- Campers should bring their own bike, helmet, protective gear, water bottle, a healthy lunch and snacks.

Imagine climbing 40 feet in the air and zipping along a hang glider or a sky kayak in the largest adventure park in Western North Carolina. Then, as the sun starts to set, the challenges become illuminated with over 15,000 colored twinkle and laser lights. Five of the Adventure Park’s aerial trails become illuminated with all their leaves, cables, ropes and platforms.
This mystical climbing experience is offered at 5 pm. Our Twilight Climb is a great way to celebrate with friends and family. It can also be a fun way to have a date!

Bring your Homeschool Group to the Adventure Center on the weekdays for adventure discounts and programs! Choose one or more adventure activities for ages 4 and over: Asheville Treetops Adventure Park (ages 4+), KidZip (ages 4-10), Kolo Bike Park (all ages who can ride a mountain bike) with optional STEMNC/SC curriculum programs, Wilderness Skills Programs and Team Bonding Facilitated Group Games. The Adventure Center of Asheville is excited to host the 3rd Annual Winter Wonder Walk. Celebrate the Wonder of Winter with a live-action immersive story-walk on an OUTDOOR trail complete with live characters, lights, and a blustery guest, Jack Frost. The Winter Wonder Walk follows the pages of the storybook of Winterland- full of holiday magic for all ages! Guests will set out on a quest through the kingdom of Winterland to find Jack Frost and the Sugar Plum Fairy and stop a terrible blizzard while meeting many wonderful characters along the way.
Created by Asheville Plays, Winter Wonder Walk is hosted by the Adventure Center of Asheville for the 3rd year. Families can also enjoy a holiday market, filled with locally made unique gifts, a kids’ play area, and a warm festival tent buzzing with local vendors, tasty concessions, and activities for the whole family.
Don’t miss out on the Treetops Adventure Park Glow Trail, which will be available for guests age 4 years or older! Climb on two of our AERIAL trails while they are illuminated with thousands of colorful twinkle and laser lights. This is available with a combo pass only! Please review the Glow Trail Section on this page for age requirements and adult escorts.
Doors and festivities open at 6pm each night. The aerial Glow Trail will open at 6pm. The Winter Wonder Walk will open at 6:30 pm, with the last entrance to the Winter Wonder Walk at 8:30.
This event supports our entire community by raising money for meals for Manna Foodbank with our Memories Making Meals program. Every ticket purchased donates $1 or 4 meals!
