Dr. James L. Byo has been selected for induction to the Louisiana Music Educators Association Hall of Fame. Dr. Byo is the Director of the School of Music at Louisiana State University and Carl Prince Matthies Memorial Professor of Music Education. The award ceremony will take place during the January 2026 LMEA Professional Development Conference in New Orleans. The public is invited to attend.
