Winter Wonder Walk

Celebrate the magic of the season at the 5th Annual Winter Wonder Walk—an enchanting outdoor story experience where live theater meets a whimsical walk through the woods! This immersive journey guides guests through the Kingdom of Winterland, where each page of the story comes to life with delightful characters (Jack Frost , Sugarplum Gnomes & Elves, and Snow Sprites ) and heartwarming surprises.
This family-friendly event has been created with everyone in mind, no matter your age or what you may celebrate during the winter holiday season. Winter Wonder Walk includes the outdoor storywalk, a heated holiday tent featuring a local vendor market, a kids’ play area, and several tasty concession and beverage options. Guests ages 4+ can also enjoy the Treetops Adventure Park Glow Trail, aglow with thousands of twinkling lights. Kids 12 and younger can earn a free general admission ticket by participating in our “S'Mitten With Books” reading program! Bundle up and bring the whole family—it’s the perfect way to make magical memories and give back this holiday season!

At the Adventure Center of Asheville, we can take care of everyone on your gift list! From adventures to experiences to Summer Camps, we have you covered. Book a 2025 or 2026 adventure, as we are open all year. Bring a friend to the Winter Wonder Walk family festival. 2026 Spring Break and Summer Day Camps are live and make great presents. Drop by Fridays to Sundays to get some cute ACA t-shirts or cups for stocking stuffers. OR you can always purchase an annual pass or get a gift card that never expires!

Asheville Yards
Holiday Ice Rink Open Until January 19th

For more Holiday fun in Asheville, our friends, Asheville Yards just opened their Ice Skating Rink. Just down the road from us in Downtown Asheville is Asheville’s newest winter experience: Ice Skating at the Holiday Ice Rink at Asheville Yards. Glide across this real outdoor ice rink surrounded by festive lights, music, hot cocoa and seasonal treats right in Downtown Asheville. Skating sessions are 75 minutes and include free skate rental. All tickets must be purchased online, in advance, at ashevilleyards.com. Admission to Asheville Yards is free for non-skaters all season.
