Our theme for this week will be "Love," in conjunction with Valentines Day. So please wear red/white to celebrate, and please bring some sweets to celebrate the occasion.
In case you didn't hear, I am sorry to tell you that we lost a giant in the world of Israeli music this week. Matti Caspi z"l passed away. 😪 He was an Israeli composer, musician, singer, arranger and lyricist. He has been hailed as one of Israel's most beloved and prolific musicians. Israelidances.com shows 58 dances for which he composed the music. Check out the list here:

I am very excited to announce our guest teacher lineup for Machol Merkaz 2026!
In addition to our wonderful founding artists, Dror Davidi and Eran Bitton, we are thrilled to welcome Marcelo Marianoff to the Machol Merkaz team.
For those who may not yet know Marcelo, he joins us from Argentina and is internationally recognized as one of the leading Israeli dance teachers and markidim today. Beyond his impressive professional credentials, Marcelo is also a genuinely warm and kind person—someone who will fit beautifully into the welcoming, community-centered spirit that defines Machol Merkaz.
